Lovely home but could have been better
First, the home itself is beautiful on a lovely location with bayside access and views of the water. It is apparent the owners want to have an upscale home with nice features. However, there were some issues we wish we had been aware of. When we booked in February the info stated the pool would be available in April. However it was under âactive construction â when we arrived and had I not called to confirm the pool completion we would not have known there could be workers on site throughout our stay. We were not happy, Heaven the manager did try to find another home but none for the same dates of our stay, and did offer a full refund if we vacated the house- we could not do this as three families had already made plans and were in transit to the house. So we were stuck as the owner was not willing to pause the construction until after our stay. Also some items that we feel would be important for future guests:No towel holders in any bathroomsNo toilet paper holders except in upstairs bathroom 3rd floorNo pot holders - had to go buy some to be able to cook, did not leaveLow wattage lights in BRs some blown missing bulbs altogether (stairwell) orBlown in other rooms bathroom MBRThree bedrooms to one bathroom on second floor - not clearly stated in description Refrigerator-water/ice dispenser broken- had fixed after notifying managerHad to reattach shower handle in guest BR and tighten faucet handle in same on second floor - for price not expect these types of issues.
