Passt!

Aunt Nea's ist eine kleine Pension in einem verträumten Örtchen. Wer Ruhe haben will und keinen extrem hohen Komfort ist hier genau richtig. Nicht zu vergessen ist das absolut zuvorkommende Personal. Gerne wieder - wenn der Weg erneut auf die Bermudas führt.

Wow, hotels.com advertises this as three-star accommodation?! What a lie! It is not even two stars. In no way is it worth $220 per night. It is very run-down and badly in need of maintenance. From a clogged toilet off the dining room, old air-conditioning units that are not effective, not being provided with a bath towel, and one day during my stay there was no drinking water available from the water cooler. There is no food, only coffee, tea and water in the dining room. There are no coffee-makers in the rooms. A bright spot is the staff who are kind and attentive and the linens were clean. The neighborhood of St George's is charming and historic.

高い利便性

空港の目の前にあるバス停からバスに乗車して終点で降りれば、徒歩数分で行けます。今回は、セントジョージの滞在が一日だったため、こちらに一泊しました。ビーチにも、成人男性の私が徒歩十数分で行けるので、一日に二回行きました。バミューダはそもそも宿泊費が高いため、日本の感覚で考えて、サービスや設備の質と費用が伴っていないと思いますが、バミューダの相場を考えれば普通だと思います。部屋と建物の鍵が郵便箱に入っていたことが初めてだったため、ドアに貼られたメモ書きを見落としていたらと思うと、不親切に感じました。そのことに気が付けたので、早く部屋に入れて良かったです。あとは、早めのチェックアウトをする際は、常に受付に誰かがいるわけでは無いので、内線で出来るだけ早い時間に管理人のレイチェルに連絡した方が良いです。私の場合は、朝06:00にチェックアウトの対応をしてくれました。

Great convenient location!

Aging beauty landscaping and surrounding. The inn staff is very attentive and caring providing what you ask and need individually. Fit for ones who choose nature over city and looking for just basic needs; family atmosphere; worth for the low price pay; and free internet wifi is available at this historic inn!

Bed and not breakfast

It is not a hotel, it's B&B without breakfast. Everything there is B- or C+, old and very cheap. But the main disappointment was a refusal of late checkout, especially after we saw all the rooms still empty when we picked up our luggage.

The room was not comfortable. Jacuzzi directly across from bed. Just weird and not great for the price.

Choose your room carefully

A charming old Bermuda home with eclectic décor. Shabby to shabby chic. It's a great location with a second story balcony with harbor views. There is a fridge in most rooms and a microwave in the lobby - you'll need both because there's no breakfast in B@B - only morning coffee or tea. Talk to the hotel about the available rooms because they differ significantly. The Royal Palm is the great suite, not the Lady Palm. And the Banana room is spacious and attractive, not the Frog Tree Room. The Green Turtle is great for a couple because it has a spa tub in a brick alcove in the bedroom, along with the shower. Helpful manager, friendly place, but you want to be in the main house nor the courtyard.

Needs maintenance. Poor appearance. Very small room. There is no breakfast and coffee was average at best. Manager was nice and helpful and location is very good.

friendly old inn

i think this is the best place i saw from which to see the island. it's old, quaint and has lots of interesting people who stay here. it's not fancy and i would have preferred to sleep with the windows open, but Rachel (caretaker) was lovely and staying in a place that embodies the history of the town is great. if you do not expect fancy you will hopefully be as delighted as the other characters who choose this place. also, ideally located for taking the buses and ferry to see the rest of the island and walking distance (15 minutes up and down hills) from one of the island's nicest protected beaches and one of the best places to snorkel.

Excellent Inn

Excellent hotel for adults. Better location than Hamilton could ever offer. Great town. Would not recommend to families with unmanageable children as a curtesy to the other guests--this is a B&B environment.

Very Neat Home-style Inn

This place is great if you will appreciate its homey feel at the heart of St. George's historic district. The furnishings are very comfortable with cedar chests for clothing and fold out cots available for the double queen room. If you take advantage of the common spaces you will have a plethora of places to lounge between the front porch, the gardens around the building that are home to three proud roosters and the couches in the living room. A good place to recharge and entertain yourself with a book or any of the board games they offer. Also you can make yourself tea or hot chocolate whenever.

no hot water

This hotel is bare bones. There was no hair dryer (you needed to ask for one), one single electrical outlet in the bathroom so I couldn't plug in my night light, no iron, no HOT WATER. There were only 4 chairs on the front porch. Would not return. Linens needed to be replaced. The manager's computer printer was not working so couldn't print out a boarding pass.

Great value and incredibly friendly staff

The hotel is not the newest on the island, but what it lacks in modernity it makes up for in service and reasonable prices - you get a great shower/jet bath, hundreds of TV channels, and a quiet private space a block away from the pretty, quaint town square of St. George (lots of cute shops and great dockside restaurants). The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed speaking with them. Please note that taxis to beaches are very expensive in Bermuda and this is at least $40 away from horseshoe beach - BUT given the cost, you will still save a lot money when compared to the bigger places in Hamilton etc.... AND the ferry is right down the road!

Location, location, location

This guest house shows its age, but that's the only downside. The friendly and welcoming front desk, the cleanliness, the comfort, and (especially) the location -- just steps away from the center of St. George's and the bus stop and a short hike to the beach -- made it a wonderful stay. The free wifi was an extra treat. If you're looking for frills, this isn't the place to stay. If you're looking for the real Bermuda experience, come here.

Comfortable rooms, in the heart of the St George's

We had a great stay in one of the 2-room suites. If you arrive after check in is closed, the keys and instructions are in the mailbox. The rooms were big, the bed was very comfortable, room was clean. We also had a veranda to sit on and relax, and watch the boats in the harbour. The inn is right in St Georges, everything is close by. Bathroom needs to be updated-plumbing was old, bathtub/shower pipes were rusty. We think we missed breakfast, or maybe there isn't one- we got coffee and an apple at 8:30 am at the inn, but that was it! If you are stuck without breakfast on a Sunday when everything else is closed go to Somers Supermarket in town- full buffet breakfast, yum! Clean, good value. Board games and books in rooms and lounges.

Nice Inn at Resonable price

I had a pleasant stay at the Aunt Nea's Inn. Good location, clean room with basic needs: A/C, flat screen satellite TV, phone, queen size canopy bed, loveseat, chair, desktop, clean bathroom with hot shower. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker and refrigerator by the lounge area on ground floor. Nice balcony upstairs to overlook front entrance and garden.They provide coffee, tea, milk and oranges and apples. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, sold me bus tickets, ordered Chinese food, gave me some reading brochures and hints of how to get to places, where to eat, etc. Keep in mind that this is a "moderated price" and modest place and don't expect luxury, modern equipped rooms with all kinds of and other amenities and services.

Beautiful, great location, but staff only ok

The Inn is a beautiful, historical building in peaceful St. George's. We loved staying here and recommend staying in the royal palm suite. The sunrise from the balcony is beautiful and complimentary coffee and tea are a great extra. The front desk staff does leave at 2 pm and only arrives at 7:30 am every day so that may be a problem for some (though they prepare everything so you can do self-check in and are very accommodating (e.g. letting us store our bags until evening our last day and just letting us leave our key after we picked it up). The front desk also did not have accurate opening and closing times for some attractions but there's free internet so if you're willing to google it yourself or kindly ask the staff to call ahead and double check you'll be fine. It is a beautiful building and location and we'll be back as soon as we can.
