Location & Views
The views of the harbour are truly stunning and one of the standout features of this guest house. It’s well situated for exploring the town—there are steps directly opposite the apartment that lead down to the town near the Co-op, though they’re quite steep. If you prefer a gentler descent, there’s another set of steps a little further down the road opposite the blue house that are much easier to manage.
Apartment Comfort & Amenities
The apartment itself looks lovely and is in a great location, but comfort was a bit of a letdown. The bed was very uncomfortable due to worn-out springs and could really do replacing. The bathroom is compact but functional, with a powerful shower and complimentary shower gel and shampoo provided.
Thoughtful Touches
Dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch and added a bit of luxury. The kitchen was well-equipped with a kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. A pint of milk, orange juice, and a loaf of bread were waiting for us on arrival—a really thoughtful and appreciated surprise.
Overall Experience
While the apartment had a stylish look, unfortunately most of the furniture was quite uncomfortable, which detracted from the overall experience.
A beautifully located apartment with gorgeous views and some lovely extras, but it could benefit from a few upgrades.
