Beautiful home away from home near Clearwater Beach
I absolutely loved, loved, loved this house! We had a large, multi-generational group, and there was something for everyone. Plenty of space to gather and enjoy each other's company, and the bedrooms were spread out enough so that everyone had privacy. The outdoor area is stunning. The listing photos are accurate.It's a short drive to nearby beaches (the closest is Indian Rocks Beach). And it's about 20 min drive from Clearwater Beach and the Pier 60 area. Grocery stores, dining, and entertainment are also nearby.Excellent responsiveness with the property manager. I messaged/called them a few times during their stay and responses were always prompt.The only downside was the amount of snakes on the property. The listing alludes to the possibility of encountering wildlife, but we were not prepared for how many snakes we saw (multiple snakes every day). There were two people in our group with severe phobias so seeing snakes was debilitating for them and they were not able to enjoy the vacation. The house is near a reservoir and the land just beyond the outdoor area is marsh-like so we were definitely in their territory. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay, puncutated by the warm welcome upon arrival and fond farewell at departure.
