Soyez notre invitĂ©! Sandy Shores fait partie de la famille Hall depuis plus de 60 ans et est actuellement dĂ©tenue et exploitĂ©e par Myrtle Hall. Myrtle est nĂ©e en Allemagne et a dĂ©mĂ©nagĂ© Ă  Indian Rocks Beach en 2000 lorsqu'elle a Ă©pousĂ© son dĂ©funt mari, Ned. La grand-mĂšre de Ned a achetĂ© la propriĂ©tĂ© Indian Rocks Beach en 1946. Le pĂšre de Ned, George Hall, a construit le premier bĂątiment de deux Ă©tages en 1952. Le Gulf Cottage d'un Ă©tage a suivi en 1972. La famille de Ned a vĂ©cu ici en hiver et a passĂ© l'Ă©tĂ© Ă  Ithaca, NY, oĂč son pĂšre a Ă©tĂ© entraĂźneur de golf Ă  l'UniversitĂ© Cornell pendant plus de 40 ans. Ned a suivi ses traces en tant que professionnel de l'enseignement PGA pendant plus de 25 ans. Il enseignait au Clearwater Golf Club situĂ© Ă  Clearwater, en Floride, lorsque Myrtle, en Floride en vacances d'Allemagne, l'a rencontrĂ© en 1998. Myrtle et Ned, bien sĂ»r, ont eu leur mariage juste devant les magnifiques Sandy Shores!

Comme Ned, Myrtle est tombé amoureux de cette belle propriété et de sa riche histoire familiale. Ned et Myrtle ont commencé à louer leurs chalets en 2005 aprÚs une embellissement complet et ont apprécié chaque minute de partager cette belle propriété avec leurs invités. Myrtle perpétue la tradition d'accueil de la famille Hall à Sandy Shores et ajoute sa marque spéciale de chaleur allemande. Son souci du détail et de la propreté fait de Sandy Shores une retraite unique et charmante.

Beautiful location and neighborhood.

The property sits right on the beach with restauraunts and shops within walking distance. There is a flower garden with lots of seating and shade if the beach is too hot or you've gotten too much sun. The cottage was emaculate with a very nice kitchen area and very comfortable bed. There were lots of beach amenities to utilize and a very nice laundry facility to use if needed. Mrytle was a very welcoming host and was easily available had any problems occurred (which did not). My adult daughter and i went for a relaxing getaway and it was perfect!

IRB spring break

This property was so cute and well- kept. It was spotless and provided everything. The owner was on-site and very helpful and accommodating. The cottage is in a great spot right on the beach, and close to restaurants and shops. Our fellow tenants were so friendly and pleasant, as well! We enjoyed our relaxing vacay very much!

Beautiful property! Gardens, multiple seating areas and access to beach were excellent as was the access to restaurants. Only drawbacks were the small bathroom and noisy air conditioning unit.

Beautiful Sandy Shores

With great anticipation, we made our way to Indian Rocks Beach for the first time and fell in love with beautiful Sandy Shores. The garden cottage is homey and comfortable and well-supplied with everything imaginable. We enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of Myrtle's gardens with all the special outdoor seating areas. The convenient location of Sandy Shores makes it easy to walk to many good places to eat. The amazing proximity to the dazzling Gulf waters and beach was pure joy. We look forward to returning again and would highly recommend it to friends.

Paradise!

What a wonderful property! Perfect for staying at while celebrating my friend’s 50th birthday. Definitely an old Florida feel and atmosphere. Myrtle has thought of everything and keeps it all in tip top shape. Especially loved the lounge chairs that could be taken to the beach! Can’t wait to come back with my husband.

Old Florida and great location

Great location for Beach, restaurants and supplies. Very Clean and what we expected based on the research. We had a miscommunication on our check in but was our fault. Myrtle was always making sure the property was maintained and did her best to communicate with us. Having beach supplies was a bonus. Only amenity we would have appreciated was a covered area for mostly rain. There are beautiful tropical areas that help with sun, but no covered outdoor areas for the daily rain showers.

Sometimes “Quaint” Just Means “Old”

The VRBO app presents this as a beautiful vintage cottage right on the beach. In actuality it is a very small, rustic, non-renovated, smelly place. Major Cons: 1. Although it was supposed to be a non-smoking cabin, it reeked of very old tobacco smoke that just couldn’t be removed and it permeated our clothes. 2.No dishwasher, or ice maker. 3. The bathroom was so small one could barely turn around in it. 4. The TV had no written instructions and the owner did not know how to make the streaming services work either. 5. The washer and dryer were not in the cabin but in a separate building and it cost $4 per load. 6. The cabin was technically beach-front, but there was no view of it from the cabin and it was a significant hike to the beach. Major Pros: None that I can think of. We won’t be back.

Sandy Shores

Our family enjoyed the stay at the garden cottage. The room was clean, welcoming, and well decorated. Myrtle met us and gave us a tour during our check-in. The property is located on the beach with walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The property has a wonderful and beautiful garden to relax. We highly recommend this place.

Beautiful place!

Myrtle’s place was perfect for our little family vacation. Such a beautiful place and a very central location, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We loved the sunsets on the beach every night! The house was clean and organized, and included everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Myrtle, for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay in Myrtle’s cottage. Location is a 10/10. You cannot get much closer to the beach which was so convenient with kids and toys and umbrellas and chairs, etc. We were <1 minute walk to a surf shop, dining, an ice cream spot, and a CVS. The property is immaculately maintained. The cottage was plenty of room for our family of 4 and extremely clean. Myrtle is a gracious and accommodating host. She gave us a tour and everything was so well stocked (plus some) in the cottage. This was by far one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. We cannot wait to visit again.

Delightful

This was a delightful experience . We were in cottage one which does not have beach view, however, the gardens and sitting areas provide a sought after view of the water. Next time would love the cottage which enjoys a beach/ water view. There was ample shade around the property too which allowed respite from the heat of the day. We would definitely come again .

Perfect little getaway

We had a quick trip to Sandy Shores. The rental was exceptionally clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The property was gorgeous; Myrtle does a great job maintaining the grounds. You are literally beachfront, and the beach was never crowded. Myrtle provided everything you’d need to enjoy your days down by the ocean, too. We enjoyed the little town and there were plenty of options for dining. Can’t wait to come back!
