Having a pool that was warm and a hot tub on site was great with a small child. Shaded pool lounge chairs. We could watch sunsets from the fishing area right across the road and there were multiple restaurants within a short walk and one on site. Drinks at the bar were ok. Pool had floaties for kids. And the beach wagonswith chairs and beach umbrella and small cooler you could check out for uses were super useful amenities. The beach is just a few blocks from the hotel and easily walkable. The closest section of beach also has restrooms and concessions which was nice. Our biggest complaint was general cleanliness. empty glasses and trash were left in the pool area and for days at a time, pool lounge cushions were stained and dirty and our room on the first floor smelled heavily of mold the entire 5 days. I am not sure if the same issue was present in second story rooms. The property over all was trying to be modern appearing but lacked some general cleanliness like cleaning carts sitting out in the open our entire stay. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating when we asked for assistance though.
