Check in staff was not pleasant and we had to wait almost half an hour longer than we were told for our room to be ready. Check in is at 4pm and we didnt get our room until 430. Room had a beautiful view and was pretty clean. Blackouts did not effect the power as they have an onsite generator. Our refrigerator worked most of the time and AC was amazing. The shower had a vroken handle that maintenance was unable to fix. Not a big deal really. It was not close to any beaches, but close to airport and downtown area. I would recommend a car if you choose this hotel due to taxi price and locality of beaches. The restaurant on site is okay, nothing special. Pool and hot tub are okay as well.

We love staying at Bluebeards but the only issue we had not knowing was that there was no elevator and we were on the fourth floor.

I had a great overall experience at this property. The location is excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious my suite was—it included a kitchen and living room, which made it feel very comfortable and elevated. The view was absolutely beautiful, and I really enjoyed the food at the on-site restaurant—it was delicious. I also spent some time at the pool area. Although I didn’t get in, it was a great place to relax and take in the scenery. There was a bit of a downside when it came to cleanliness in the bathroom. I did notice hair from a previous guest in the shower and on the floor, so I ended up doing a quick clean myself. That’s definitely an area that could use more attention. One other thing to note is that there can be a bit of a wait when calling for a taxi, so I’d recommend planning ahead if you’re on a schedule. Overall, it was a really nice stay, and I would definitely consider coming back.

Great overall experience! Great views from balcony- spacious- clean rooms with kitchen area, pool deck with hot tub great views overlooking cruise port area. Also bar and restaurant in that same area with good food. Stairs- but not a problem unless you just cant do stairs. Central location- parking on site. Would def stay here again!

Limited availability for meals/ on site bar/ restaurant availability, Recommend bigger hot tub or multiple tubs. Size of facility inconsistent with current available amenities. Our room was spacious but not mopped, we cleaned it ourselves after noticing that our feet were black after being in the room a few hours. Nice to have washer and dryer.

This hotel is absolutely stunning if you love nature and tropical vibes. Staff can escort you to and from your room to the hotel lobby, or to take a taxi. Everyone is super friendly I have no complaints!

This was a wonderful stay, at a really beautiful location. We had an ocean/bay view in pirate's pension & it was a fabulous room, like a mini suite complete with sink, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, couch & coffee table, dining table, & patio balcony, with table & chairs, even had a washer & dryer. Despite what listing said it definitely has towels, both room & pool towels. Room was clean. View is awesome. There is a lot of walking/stairs in this resort & even though it is not far, it is not easy to walk into town on those very steep mountain roads, especially in the heat. They do have golf carts that can drive you around the resort only but not to the bottom of the entrance. There is no free airport shuttle. Taxis are generally $12-15/pp & you are charger per person, each way. There is no Uber or Lyft. Car rental is VERY expensive (we were told $1400 for a jeep wrangler for 5 days) & it's often hard to find parking. I recommend taxis, but get the # of your driver & use the same one the whole time, they're very accommodating. You will likely have to share a taxi with others. Hotel amenities were simple but pretty great, a nice pool & hot tub, pool bar closed at 4p & then the open air on site restaurant is open til late & overlooks the pool & harbor also. There are some activities on certain nights like bingo or karaoke. You can (self guided)tour Blackbeard's historic castle for $5, which was pretty cool to see the 360* view at the top. Overall great & would return!

Very clean resort with delicious food. Front desk was very rude upon checking in and out and the waiters at the pool area were beyond rude . The lady with short blonde hair ignored us on multiple occasions and the man with blonde hair kept talking about how horrible of a day it was . Their whole conversation was regarding how busy they were and didn’t ask us if we needed anything else. We ordered at the bar and had to get menus from the bar yet gratuity is automatically added. It is a beautiful and clean resort but the staff made the experience terrible.

Location is not great if you want to walk around to other areas. You can walk to ship docks and do some shopping over in that area. The restaurant has "ok" food that is quite overpriced. $66 for vigin daiquiri, omelet with hash browns, and a 2 egg hash brown bacon breakfast. Made the omelet incorrectly. Didn't have time to wait for a new one. Asked for money back and they only gave me $20 refund. Let me mention...$66 included tip. I gave $70 cash and they never gave me change. So soent $50 on one breakfast and one non alcoholic drink. Room was clean but the door would not close and the patio handle wouldn't work. Area "boasts" a pool, etc; Yes there is a small pool. Nothing fancy. Vending machines barely stocked. Fr I nt desk staff was hit or miss. Some were very friendly while others were very cold and not helpful at all. Concierge folks were great. Beds seemed comfortable. Pillows were good. Overall not a place i would return to just due to the location.

There isn’t an airport shuttle, but the $20 a person taxi will take you there. The hill it sits on is steep, but you can walk it, we did several times. The staff is hit and miss, some are friendly, some make you feel like you’re a huge inconvenience to them (avoid the convenience store at all costs) the room was fine but the floor was so disgusting. I got out of the shower and walked to the couch and by the time I got there my feet were black. The hours for breakfast are late, so if you wake up before 9… get some things to keep in your room because no where on the property will serve you before that and even when you order, they’re on island time… you’ll miss this “one time” complimentary shuttle into town because it’ll be a while for you food. Views were pretty!

We chose this hotel last minute after missing our flight. One more night in St Thomas vs returning to snow? Ok!!! The room was great, the view from our room as well as around the resort was very nice. The location is a 10min walk into everything Charlotte Amolie has to offer. Our stay was quiet and pleasant.
