« The reviews are all stellar for a reason--they are well earned. No complaints from anyone in the family. Great launch point to visit Shenandoah NP where we spent several days hiking. Only negative there is we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the property. Would love to stay here again and spend more time on the porch, by the river, in town....Two things that might be helpful (somewhat covered in other reviews). The last bit of the walk to the river isn't obvious. The given directions are fine...

« This secluded farmhouse nestled in the valley below Shenandoah National Park was the perfect spot for a last minute getaway.Our dogs loved the expansive yard and we loved sitting on the back porch to take in the sights and sounds of the National Park.The house is 15 minutes from Luray in one direction and the Thornton Gap Entrance to the National Park in the other.The house itself is as stunning as it looks in the pictures and the hosts were very communicative. We hope to make it back soon! »

« We fell in love with The Mill House at Ragged Ridge from the listing on line. In person, the house did NOT disappoint! Beautifully renovated but maintaining that old farmhouse charm while offering modern amenities at the same time. « We were having a family gathering in the mountains. We really appreciated this large home. This included five couples. Everyone had their own room. All beds were king or queen. There were several bathrooms, great kitchen, living and dining rooms for gathering. A grocery store was a very short drive away. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. Internet was reliable. Air conditioning worked well. There were three stories, but the stairs were no problem for us. We absolutely would stay here again. »

« The Farmhouse was beautifully restored with large rooms, a wonderful porch, a kitchen equipped for every need, and a table large enough to sit our 8 family members with room left over. My grandchildren loved the big lawn with the provided yard equipment and sprinkler. We all enjoyed the animals and fire pit. Our host was gracious and readily available, and we would love to return some day. »

« The home is beautiful and much bigger on the inside than the pictures showed. 3 of us stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and basically used half the house because it's so spacious. The views are very pretty. We were on motorcycles for the weekend and came up the first, unpaved service entrance as that is where the GPS told us to turn. If you are on motorcycles, DO NOT go up this entrance! Go to the entrance with the long driveway that has a fence on both sides as it is fully paved all...

"Nous avons passĂ© 3 nuits dĂ©but juillet 2025 Ă  Skyland, et ce fut une expĂ©rience exceptionnelle ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen Ă©tait spacieuse, propre et trĂšs confortable. Elle disposait de tout le nĂ©cessaire : TV, Wi-Fi, machine Ă  cafĂ©, et surtout une superbe terrasse avec une vue Ă  couper le souffle sur les montagnes de Shenandoah : un vrai bonheur au lever comme au coucher du soleil. Le personnel a Ă©tĂ© extrĂȘmement accueillant et serviable tout au long du sĂ©jour, ce qui a rendu l’expĂ©rience encore plus agrĂ©able. L’hĂŽtel est idĂ©alement situĂ© au cƓur du parc, parfait pour rayonner sur Skyline Drive et profiter des randonnĂ©es sans passer trop de temps en voiture. Sur place, tout est prĂ©vu pour un sĂ©jour pratique et agrĂ©able : restaurant, bar, boutique, machine Ă  glace, parking gratuit
 (Seul petit point Ă  noter : il n’y a pas de piscine, mais franchement, on ne vient pas ici pour ça !). Nous recommandons chaudement Skyland Ă  tous ceux qui veulent profiter pleinement de Shenandoah NP dans un cadre naturel, calme et authentique. Nous y retournerions sans hĂ©siter !"
