Spacious and comfortable condo. Gondola and free building shuttle made it easy to get to the mountain and downtown hassle free. Loved the hot tub on site and ski storage in the building. Overall great stay! Only room for improvement wish the keycard pick up was closer to the condo and there were more than 2 keycards. But not a big deal since we just left one keycard at the front desk for whoever got back first.

Warm and cozy, super convenient to the slopes and base via gondola right outside the building. Our family of 5 had a unit and another family of 5 who came out to Steamboat with us had another unit... we all enjoyed the place very much. Great place!

Communication was very good with management team. Gondola to the base was an incredible plus! We did not have a car and used the shuttle service to town for dinners out. very convenient. Condo was clean and nicely furnished. I would stay here again.

Great property in a great location! My family loved spending our fall break here. It was really quite off-season, which was wonderful. We had the hottub, pool and BBQ essentially to ourselves. The location was central to great fishing spots and town. Will stay here again. Thanks!

The property is amazing. Exactly as you would expect from the listing. All in very good condition and very clean. Our issues though stem from iTrip which seriously overcomplicated the whole thing making it very frustrating and wasting a lot of our time. Firs they started sending the notifications to my wife's email which went to her SPAM and not me. I kept telling them I wasn't getting the emails and they said it comes from VRBO but I sent multiple screenshots showing my VRBO has only one email address... mine. Then we had the whole thing split with some emails going to me and some to her, and some texts coming to me and some good to her. We eventually figured out this whole mess happened because of iTrip. My wife bought a vacation policy from iTrip a year ago and listed me as an alternate contact. Just know your booking is being managed by a fourth party that you weren't aware of when booking on VRBO.Then getting the keys was horrible. ITrip has this shack on a side road and the nav apps just show a random push pin in the middle of a field. We couldn't figure out how to find this shack to get our keys. We wasted 30min trying to figure that out.Absolutely love the property and once we sorted out the communication issues and getting the keys it was all amazing.

The property overall is great. Comfortable and well stocked. Great pool and hot tub. Biggest issue is they only provide 1 parking pass even though the unit is 2 master bedrooms. Makes it very tough to have to couple up there as we needed 2 cars to fit all our bikes and stuff we wanted to do in steamboat. Offsite parking is very rough. Also only got one key to the unit and that was tough as if you go anywhere you need a key to get back in and in elevator. Key drop off was behind a bush vs front desk. Said it was a temporary thing but odd. They did get us a second key when asked.

Ski trip with family and friends

This is a great place to stay due to the Gondola literally being at the front door. And the gondola is free. I rode it to meet for lunch, with no ski lift ticket. Extremely convenient. The place is clean, and had all the amenities in the rooms. My only nuisances were minor. There are no bath mats for the floor, so the tile is freezing, we used towels, but for the price, a bath mat would be good. There was only one blanket for the couch, we had 4 people. Also, the management company send automated texts frequently, which is good and bad. It's kind of annoying to be on vaca and asked about your stay multiple times. And then multiple times get texted reminding you about check out and that it is immediately at 10 am. That ruins the vaca vibe when you're reminded about leaving and the rules.

very nice facility

Nice unit, nice view, convenient parking. Love the double king/bed/bath set up. Could use better pans for cooking. There were a few stainless pots which we were grateful for but no large pan other than non stick scraped up teflon. But I do understand that is a challenge. Elevator was not working when we checked out so was a bit cumbersome.

Great location and amenities

We had enough space for our family of 4. We like the location of the apartment within the building close to the elevator to the garage and a short walk to the pool. The apartment was clean and had what we needed to make a few meals. The rooms were spacious and we like that each room had king beds. It was also convenient to have a restaurant across the building. One of the showers did not have good water flow. The property management didn’t have our keys ready when we arrived, but they were quick to fix this.

Perfect place!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We'd been clamoring for a vacation after a tough year, and this place was perfect. The property manager was super responsive, getting back to us promptly with any questions or needs. We prefer separate bedrooms because of sleep issues and these two bedrooms were wonderful -- both having master bathrooms, comfortable beds, good light, and nice TVs. The first day there, we had several plans, but ended up in love with the deck that looked out over the well-kept grounds and pool, with the mountains in the distance. We sat back in the cushioned chairs and watched the clouds rolling in while we ate breakfast. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and taking in the peaceful view on the deck, later taking a dip in the pool and a soak in the tucked away hot tubs. It was actually one of our favorite days out of our five night stay. We also had a great time, hiking, biking, shopping, and dining! We adore Steamboat Springs in the summer and are now thrilled to have discovered this lovely gem of a condo at Trailhead Lodge and will be returning!!

Great stay

We had a great stay with our two little girls. Very easy access to the downtown Steamboat area and trailheads. We appreciate iTrip being accommodating with high chairs and pack and plays for our girls. We would definitely come back!
