Good for two couples

Two master bedrooms (each with ensuite bathroom) on opposite sides of the living room was an ideal setup for two couples. This was also the only unit we could find with air conditioning and we definitely needed it during our end-of-July visit. In the interest of managing expectations though, it should be mentioned that the title photo is no longer accurate. There are many condo buildings occupying the entire empty field in the picture, so the view is limited and those condos did not get built overnight. Also the unit is dimly lit, even with every single light and lamp on. On a cloudy day or in the evening it was hard to see what you were doing on the kitchen countertops - there are no under-cabinet lights and the ceiling lights were minimal. The kitchen island was an exception in that it had two pendant lights directly over it. There are no lights above the showers or bathtubs, no bedroom ceiling lights, only small table lamps in bedrooms, and the paint scheme is dark, which contributes to the dimness. Additionally there are no pictures on the bedroom or bathroom walls giving it a sterile feeling. The balcony has only two chairs and one side table although the unit sleeps six and there is plenty of room on the balcony for several more chairs and side tables. On the other hand, the living room area is crammed with oversized furniture so it’s tricky to get people on both sides of the dining table. The pocket doors to the bathrooms were a little difficult to slide open/closed and the kitchen faucet spray nozzle does not fully retract. The blinds over the baloney door were difficult to open and the cords pile awkwardly on the floor once it’s open because they are on the wrong side of the blinds. The unit is in the Trailhead Lodge and you check in and out with the front desk, which went very smooth. The packet they gave us was very thorough and informative. Loved having a dishwasher and a washer/dryer in the unit. It was great to park in the adjacent garage out of the sun and it was nice to walk to the gondola for the scenic ride. Overall the unit is very adequate but not luxurious.

Our stay at Steamboat Springs in the Trailhead Lodge was amazing. The view we had from our condo was fantastic, too. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Property!

We enjoyed our stay in August over a long weekend with 4 adults and 1 infant. Both bedrooms/bathrooms were huge and the living space was great to cook and lounge, plenty of space. The views from the property were great as you could see the top of steamboat mountain, you wont be disappointed! Also, our favorite part was the hot tub area as there were 3 and they were tucked back with great views as well!

Nice property but very limited room/lounge chairs at pool area. No tissue boxes in unit which was just an inconvenience. Wood shades in bedroom were fairly dusty. Overall room was in need of update for price of unit.

Great, family-friendly condos

Great for our crew, 2 adults and 2 boys, ages 3 and 5 yrs old. Pool and 3 hot tubs were easily accessible with long hours (although the hot tubs could be turned down a couple degrees). Great location - walking distance to tennis/pickleball courts and the Strings Pavilion for outdoor concerts. Unfortunately the outdoor grills were inoperable but we got one night of grilling out before they brokedown. Overall, we'd stay again!

Convenient Location

It was like staying in a hotel. Clean, generic and kind of sterile but it was exactly as advertised. Only issue was a miscommunication between property management and cleaning service. Unit was supposed to be available for early check-in but it wasn't ready when we arrived. Tip: Park in the lowest level of the parking garage and use that elevator to the 2nd floor. It's the closest elevator to the unit. We initially parked in one of the first available parking spots and that elevator is furthest away from the unit.

Family Celebration

This was the perfect place for us - close to other family members and to all attractions. The weather was great and we enjoyed being able to keep the door to The balcony open during day to get the fresh air. We were out and about most of the time, but the condo was a very comfortable place to come “home” to. We had everything we needed for our stay - highly recommended.

Great neighborhood

We had a great visit at this property. The neighborhood had quite a bit of new builds, so some of the photos of the property and views were no longer accurate, but it was still gorgeous. My only suggestion would be more dishes. My family of 6 stayed and we ate a couple of meals at the condo and were short on plates and silverware. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Location

We spent a week at the Trailhead Lodge and loved the location. Our condo was spacious and nice. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils and we had in room laundry which was great! Pool and jacuzzi were very nice after a day on the mountain. However, due to Covid you had to reserve a spot which was kind of a pain! The list started every morning at 8am at the front desk. So, you had to get down there by 7:15ish and wait in line to get an afternoon spot. Steamboat is a great family destination and I would recommend the Trailhead Lodge.

Gondola on Property makes it almost as good as ski in/ski out

Condo was as described. Very clean. Great building staff, very nice and helpful like most Steamboat locals. Large pool and 3 hot tubs are better than expected. Indoor parking garage is tall enough for SUVs with cargo boxes.

Nice clean cozy condo

I stayed at the condo while hunting in Steamboat. It was so nice having a nice, clean, and warm coffee lace to come home to after hiking miles in the cold snowy mountains. It was nice and quiet most likely because the ski slopes hadn’t opened yet. I would definitely stay here again.

Great condo

My husband and I stayed here for fre nights to get away and it was wonderful! My only complaints are the smell and hot water. There was a stale smell throughout that was a little odd. We also only had hot water about 50% of the time. I contacted Turnkey and they quickly got on it for us. Found out it was a building wide broiler and one of the units had a pipe burst. The backup couldn't handle everything so the water was only hot late at night and early morning. We would stay here again if we are in Steamboat!
