Awesome spot for fisherman!
Great location minutes away from the boat ramp! Covered storage that fit my 22 foot bay boat with room to spare. Will definitely try to stay here in the future!

Didn't want to go home
We had a great time. One way to tell you are having fun, is no one wants to go home. Fish were caught, cooked on the grill and good times were had. My fishing buddies are already making plans to go again. Cant wait to use this place next time. Thank you, you have a wonderful place!

Home away from home!
Our family’s home was hit by the hurricane. We needed to work in that house, but unable to stay there. We rented from Pamela. She was easily accessible and great to work with. She made accommodations for our family and we truly appreciate it! I highly recommend her home!!

Great unit for 2 couples. It had everything we needed and more. We did not even get to use the gas grill. The kitchen had spices, coffee and other items. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels..

Everything about this house was perfect, from check-in to check-out. The house was clean and fresh and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was super quite, and the perfect location for a quick trip to the public boat ramp and marinas. I highly recommend this house and will rent again if available for any up coming trips.

The house was very nice and clean, loved the ammenity's, the only issues I had with the stay is I could not get the DVD player to work, it said you had to plug a device in that I didn't know anything about or where to get it. and not being able to clean my catch I understand but if someone leaves a mess or anything let it be known there will be a penalty.

Sorry you could not get the DVD working. As you probably experienced we now have fiber optic internet and it is excellent for streaming movies and tv. As for cleaning fish at the home, the smell of dead fish is really not appealing to our renters. Thank you for your booking. Pamela

We drove down Friday the 13th.As always the property was very well equipped.This is always our first choice, the owners do a great job. The fishing was difficult but coming back every to a warm comfortable house was excellent. A new gas grill is a great addition.

New grill was great. Very comfortable with excellent parking.
Everything fit in with our 3 day fishing plan. Disposal of garbage did not work out though. I was told I needed a permit and was not allowed to dump. Maybe I missed something in the notes.

We hope to see you again and I just wanted to address the trash issue. A permit is located on the side of the fridge to be used at the dump. Directions to the location are located in the Welcome notebook on the kitchen bar. Thank you for renting with us.

Thanksgiving weekend fishiong trip
I have stayed here many times and we had another great fishing trip. We caught sea bass , redfish and trout.After fishing all day it is very nice to come back to a comfortable ,well equipped place to stay.The owners are excellent to work with.

Scalloping trip
This is our second time to stay at shells n tails and it won’t be our last. We love the quiet neighborhood . It’s very convenient to the new marina and to sea hag marina . The house is very clean and has everything you need. Plenty of parking for our vehicles , golf cart and trailer . Pamela thinks of everything that you may need for your stay. Theres little sprinkles of treats everywhere that we really appreciated. We will be back !

Cute and Cozy.
This property was fantastic and met all of our needs. Very clean, and nicely decorated. Hosts were amazing as well. Parking is always a big deal for us because we have multiple drivers and a bigger boat trailer. This was the best parking situation I have ever been a part of. Boat ramp is right down the street. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful home away from home.
We loved it . We hope to return. Steinhitchee is such little gem that most people don't know about. Owners were very helpful when we had a problem with the TV. It's very nice to have a security camera on the property.
