The property was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Very dirty, stained sheets, room smelled weird, holes in the walls, pool was drained and looked nasty and there was no coffee in the morning as advertised. Just terrible!

Woman at check in was great and friendly. Unfortunately there was an angry, half naked man loitering and cussing all evening outside the front door (not hotel's fault). Good thing there was a storm, with that noise and the fan I was able to drown out the neighbors laughing and television. You get what you pay for I guess, and this is far from luxury! Clean and comfortable bed, nice hot shower. Not a place I would do more than sleep and get dressed at, however.

Property looked like it was closed down but was actually open. The first time I have been charged for soap and shampoo at a hotel. $3 for a tiny bottle of shampoo?? They are cutting every corner possible and the property is showing the results.

I knew it was an older motel building, and did not expect perfection. The vinyl floor is a good idea but needed cleaning. I cleaned it the best I could with some paper towels I had in our truck. The worst part was the noise from the room above us, since we were on the bottom floor. It wasn’t normal noise, it was like someone was moving furniture or a wheeled something just back and forth. It started at 11:00pm. There was a break from 2:30 to 4:30am and then started again.

I've been there and stayed there for 3months due to personal reason one and half year ago. It's very clean, safer area, and there are good staffs too. I visited there again with my family. It still so nice:)

Very quite location but should step up on the cleaniess of the room, found hair all over bed that didn't belong to me. Spots all over sheets, a/c unit noisy in room.

The young lady at the front was very welcoming. We knew we were taking a chance on a lower ended chain when we booked but I am never ok with a used bar of soap left behind an ooen shower curtain and pubic hair in the shower. The coffee was cold at the front office. The bed was comfy and everything else was pretty clean.

Motel 6 in Stephenville, TX Sucks!
The room was visibly dirty, hair on the bathroom counter and sheets, sheets were stained, floor hadn't been cleaned in ages, sheet were stained, no guest wi-fi, coke machine, snack machine and ice machine were not working, a big hole in the ceiling above the shower. Grossest hotel by far that we've ever stayed in. It was awful and didn't come close to what we expect from a Motel 6. Truly disgusting. They should have paid me to stay there.

Questionable rooms
Hotel was in a decent location, it appears it’s under renovation. The renovated rooms were on the other side of the building and about 1/2 empty and we were stuck in a room that hasn’t been renovated yet. I felt like we were housed in the area of permanent residents rooms. Upon arrival, the door had a wide gap between it and the frame on the bottom 1/3rd, the room was barely furnished and the flooring was loose and moved as you walked. No luggage stand, nothing to hang clothes in or on, the so called clothes rack was missing hangers and bar. The renovated rooms looked very nice when we looked inside while waiting on other family with our group to get ready to attend the event we were in town for.

It was a decent size room. Not too loud outside. Airconditioner workwd great. Bath/shower was nice. Just didnt have coffee maker and stickers in the grass for dogs to walk in.

Stayed here because I had dogs with me. Waste receptacle in lawn area was out of bags and was OVERFLOWING with bags full of waste. Room was pretty torn up from previous pets. Charge a deposit and keep it to repair damage if done - don’t make others pay full price for a decent room and be put in a dump because you’ve got dogs who are clean and well behaved with you. Seriously - $80 a night for a dump with a flat pillow and walls full of holes? Not cool.

Absolute worst hotel we have experienced. First night wasn’t bad left the second day being there to come back to all bathroom essentials and fiancés makeup gone. They ended up bringing back some stuff and saying they don’t know what happened to the rest so about 60$ worth of stuff gone. After dealing with that and about to go to sleep for the night we had a roach run around across our 4 year olds foot. Worst place to stay in Stephenville
