Another remake of faulty towers.
Another remake of faulty towers. Nice location, but lives in the past. No lift (good luck with heavy luggage), phone in the room not found:-))), you need to pay GBP 15 for a bathroom if you are not in a deluxe room. Nice staff but way too expensive for what it is now. Maybe 20 years ago it was motivated. But now the furniture is worn out and clearly nobody invested there. Easy to find cheaper and better quality.

A éviter les Week-end
Autant mon avis en 2019 était positif, autant cette année je suis fort déçue : 1- par la chambre et le lit (150 cm), on ne peut pas parler de King size. 2- le bruit, en raison des cérémonies et fêtes proposées, ceci jusque 3-4 h du matin. 3- le petit déjeuner, oeufs et haggis secs et choix limité. Cela dit, l’ établissement est idéalement situé, le cadre est agréable, la piscine est spacieuse.

Très bel établissement au coeur de Stirling
Excellent séjour pour la 2e fois dans cet hôtel qui a su préserver son passé de High School. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les petits déjeuners au choix sont excellents.

Overall a nice hotel given the small town and castle/tourism nearby. They have parking which is a plus. They have a lovely courtyard and it was nice being able to get a drink to sit in a quiet area. The room was nothing special and when we went to eat in the restaurant you could tell there were no windows open, stuffy and smells.

The toilet didn't flush well, the bed had one side that seemed broken and if you rolled too far on that side of the mattress you'd roll off the bed. The comforter didn't cover the whole bed. The location is nice and it was really close to Stirling Castle. The free parking was nice.

Excellent staff, although there’s no AC, and rooms and en-suites are looking a little rough around the edges, the walls are thin and the floors are creaky, doors slam everywhere, not the clientele, just the nasty door closers. don’t let that put you off, Great location, even better staff

The room felt a bit outdated, smaller than what we were used to for a two person stay. The bathroom was small. But the hotel itself is on beautiful grounds near the city center. The outside has a nice sitting area and there is a pool/hot tub/steam room or sauna area across the way. Lots of parking.

Very nice hotel. But when you see a client with 11 pieces of luggage, please put them on the 1st or 3rd floor, the ones with lift access. Putting us on the 2nd floor, with no access to a lift was a huge mis-step, and only hurt this review.

We love staying at the Stirling Highland hotel. They have a really good gym and pool. Its really handy for the castle and tiwn centre. However it is a bit tired and the rooms could be doing with a bit of an upgrade. The room would also benefit from a fridge. The,1 bottle of water was welcome but why not leave 1 per person? For a Scottish Hotel in a popular tourist area I was really disappointed not to see porridge on the menu, also 20mins before the end of breakfast they ran out of fruit- other than apples and bananas - and didnt bother bringing any more out or natural yoghurt and honey which was very annoying! It is very charming and we will go back as we do like it!

Very nice hotel based in a very nice area of Stirling, however the breakfast was really poor, buffet style with anaemic bacon, eggs sitting for ages, people dropping the food utensils for the buffet in the floor then placing them back for others to use. Drinks dispensed by machine, and if you want tea you have to master how to get hot water. The poorest breakfast experience we had in Scotland, the management need to sit down and get this right, currently a very lazy attempt to provide breakfast. The breakfast really ruins the experience
