âBeautifully located with spectacular views over the beach. The roof top terrace is magnificent - more Mediterranean than the English Channel! The rooms are very stylish, the breakfast and evening meal are delicious. And most importantly, the staff are super helpful and friendly.
I have stayed for pleasure and work in many hotels worldwide and this one ranks very highly!â
âThe owner was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a cooked breakfast as well as a selection of cereals.
Shenandoah House about 5 minutes walk from the beach and is close to local shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also within walking distance to the Turner Gallery and Dreamland.
Our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely return.

âThe apartment was perfect in every way. Location to Dreamland, communication with host, cleanliness, the tea, coffee & snacks, with milk in the fridge was a very nice touch.

âSehr guter Stopp etwas auĂerhalb von Margate. Anmeldung im Pub. Die Zimmer sind ĂŒber dem Pub, aber ab 22 Uhr war alles ruhig. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Die Dusche war hervorragend, und die HandtĂŒcher waren auch klasse. Alles pieksauber. Der Pub macht mittwochs bis samstags Abendessen. Dienstag ist Bingoabend. Das (kostenlose) Internet war ultraschnell. Margate hat viel mehr zu bieten als ich erwartet hĂ€tte. Ich komme wieder. â
âHaving lived nearby for several years, have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, our preferred area and hotel throughout the Southeast. Lovely staff, the rooms may be slightly outdated, but traditional and cosy. Keep them as they are. Always a great selection of coffee, teas, milk on hand, hot chocolate, biscuits, kettle and nespresso machine. The food is amazing as always, breakfast with buffet, loved the crumpets. âwalking distance to Ramsgate Harbour. Bus stop 7 minutes from hotel. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. Inclusive breakfast was far too basic like the room we booked. Better to book without it and pay for a decent breakfast. Overall, not great value for the price paid. â

âLovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature.
