« Came in town for new river gorge. This property is close to everything. »

« The cabin is rustic as you’d expect with a train track close by. Sleep with white noise to help with train traffic. Sitting on the deck overlooking the river was magical! Bed was comfortable. »

« This was a great location for a trip to a beautiful National Park. It’s just 5 minutes from the main visitor’s center and New River Bridge and 10 minutes from downtown Fayetteville. The cottage is kept immaculately clean and located on a quiet gravel street. The kitchen has plenty of room to cook and is equipped with everything I needed to make dinner for 5. The owner stocked the fire pit with sticks and firewood. I forgot to pack a lighter and couldn’t find one on site. I contacted the owner....

« The cottage is beautiful and located just close enough to everything you need.We came for a few days to see waterfalls and had several within short driving distance. I would highly recommend this clean and quiet little slice of heaven! »

« My husband, my mom, and I stayed at this cozy little cottage, and we just loved it! It was very clean, smelled amazing (like autumn), and it was just so fun! I highly recommend! »

« Riverfront Retreat is a quaint, charming, well appointed two bedroom house located on the Kanawha river. The house is very clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. I think it's an exceptional value for a couple or small family. »

« Dining options, local sight seeing options close by and grocery store close by. Hot tub was a bonus after a day of hiking. Highly recommend! »

« We enjoyed our stay. The house was about a half-hour drive from the main visitor center in New River Gorge National Park. Two very nice state parks were also within a relatively short driving distance. We used the full-size kitchen for breakfast and dinner. It was nice having a dishwasher. The kayaks and fire pit were a lot of fun. »

« Comfortable and spacious. Right across from Pipestem park. Great as far as WV goes! If you come to town recommend fishing with Outcast Fishing! »

« The property was easy to find and very convenient to retail and restaurants. Everything was very clean. Bed was comfortable and all the amenities ( towels, shampoo, coffee, etc) were nice quality. Super quiet. Host was available and friendly. Highly recommend. Much better choice than nearby hotels. »

« We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cottage. You can't beat being surrounded by nature, sitting by a firepit, listening to the sounds of nature and gazing at the stars. »

« The house was stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Most of our time at the house was spent out on the porch taking in the view or casting a line into the river from the dock below. The closed in fence was convenient for our pup. We would absolutely stay in the house again, and Beth was super responsive with all communication and made sure we had everything we needed. »
