Full kitchen with a huge table, which we loved to hang out in. 2 comfortable bedrooms. My older child slept on an inflatable mattress in the living room, he loved having his own space. Hostess Carri has thought of everything to make this a delightful stay for anyone wanting to visit the area and to attend New River Gorge. AND it is pet-friendly! « The minute my friend and I walked into this cottage, we wanted to call it home. The place was clean and had every little thing you could imagine needing or forgot to bring. Kimmy had these little personalized notes and all sorts of local menues and activity recommendations if you didnt know what was available. And the deer! We just sat on the porch while they grazed right there in the yard. When I return to WV I plan to reserve this place again. »

« Accessible via steps or nice ramp. The cottage was very clean, The coffee bar was very nice with multiple choices for coffee and tea. We enjoyed coffee outside on the porch. I would stay here again. The host was responsive to messages and easy to contact. Nice place to stay. »

Hostess Ashley was terrible, waited 6 hours for answer that we had on using the garage and then her response did not include how to access the garage. We had planned a 4 night stay and after the first night with no sleep because of the dogs across the street barking from midnight to 2 am and then again at 5 am, we decided to leave . « Beautiful little cottage! We absolutely loved the decor and the historic artifacts with accompanying literature! Fav part by far is the bunkbeds and LED lighting with historic copies of newspaper articles. Very close to town! We would definitely return! »
