« The property is located right across from Hawks Nest State Park. The neighborhood is quiet. You can sit on the front porch or out back on the patio or up by the fire pit. « We needed a dog friendly place to base our New River Gorge trip and this fit the bill. Plenty of room and everything went smoothly. No dishwasher so you'll have to hand wash any dishes you use but that's not a huge issue. The window unit air conditioners worked well enough we were quite comfortable.I would add that you are parking in front of the left hand garage door but you are staying in the main house. The keypad is on the back sun room door. »

We were treated to amazing wildlife views every day, which made the experience even more special. The kids especially loved fishing in the pond! « The apartment was exactly as listed. We found it to be the perfect place to stay for our visit to the New River Gorge. Very quiet, very clean without the use of scents.
