« We loved the beach, the grill, the pool table, the dock and the big house that could accommodate our group! We rented a pontoon boat and had a fabulous time on the lake! Lots of good restaurants in Rochester also :-) »

« We were in town for a conference at Lowell. This was a great location, much better than Boston due to traffic. The house was nice and clean with everything that you could possibly need. »

« The house and grounds are beautiful, especially if you appreciate old historic houses. Issues did arise ut Chelsi responded very quickly. The kitchen is modern w room for lots of cooks. We made use of most of the amenities -pool, sauna, theater room. Location is great- near beach and rail trail, and short distance to rye, Portsmouth, kittery . It worked perfectly for our college roommate reunion. »

« The cottage on Mendums Pond is a delightful, wonderfully furnished extended A-frame situated on a quiet road, overlooking a beautiful pond and natural view. Very quiet and peaceful, yet within 5 minutes of sites, shops, and conveniences. Everything you need is within the home, including AC and TV. The owner kept in touch and was very helpful with questions. The place was very clean and neat, and there were games and puzzles available. We loved our time here and will return in the future. »

« These were cute little cabins, rustic, but clean and tidy with everything there for staying for awhile. AC too. We were on the water and the geese welcomed us in the morning! The cabin had a screened in porch with comfy chairs. There was a nice little beach with kayaks to use, a fire pit and firewood for each cabin. The bed was comfy. It was nice and we would definitely visit again. »

« I would love to rent again. The space was enough for the number of guests allowed. Enclosed porch, deck, grill, and fire pit by the water were used daily. Water level is great for kids and water toys like floats and paddle boards. If it’s windy the water might be a little choppy but nothing major. Great view of the sun setting over the mountains. I really enjoyed my stay. »

« Overall good, bed arrangements had changed from when reservation was made. Beds had fitted sheet but not top sheets. »

« La propriété est bien situé, ressemble à une cabane à oiseaux. Annonce mentionne pour 6 personnes, mais n'avait pas de draps pour les 2 lits des "futons". Nous avons du se couvrir avec nos serviettes de plage. Puisque le gestionnaire de l'endroit nous a répondu qu'il n'était pas en service. De plus 2 rouleaux de papiers de toilette pour 5 personnes / 4 jours.. insuffisant. Pas vraiment envie de récrire à l'hôte à la suite de sa dernière réponse. La cuisiner bien rénové, mais le reste...

« We enjoyed the home and location. We were disappointed there were numerous cameras on all sides of the home that were not disclosed. It caused unease throughout the entire week. Overall, it’s a 4.5 rating: it would be 5 without the cameras. »
