« I loved our stay while visiting Tenba Ridge Winery and Blemis Bluff Winery. The only real complaint was the couch as it was not comfortable to get cozy on and watch a movie for someone with a bad back. But other than that we loved the stay and will be back in the spring to stay but will stay in a different suite for a bigger shower as room # 3 only has a single stall shower, reminded me of my time at tech school in the military. « Ed was very knowledgeable and interesting. He gave us several great suggestions for places to visit and eat. He also offered us a tour of his property on his 4 wheeler, which was a lot of fun. I was able to feed the animals from the corn that grew on his property, too. Be sure to visit with him if you get the chance. The accommodations are part of Ed's house in the country. It's laid back and rural-not spotless but homey. :) »

« Very family friendly, enjoyed all the outside SHADED sitting and protected from rain. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful Kitchen table. All rooms clean and plenty of towels. Upstairs refrigerator great. Pool sticks need new ends. Lots of toys for our 11 month old to play with. Great communication with hosts. Appreciated early check in and extra hour check out. « Wonderful historic location. Host provided thoughtful extras that we didnt think to bring. Our only suggestion would be if you prefer a softer mattress I would bring a mattress pad. »

« This is a lovely property for a large group or family reunion. We had a family of 11 for a week. The 8 bedrooms were terrific, all with their own bathrooms. The view and area is spectacular. The walk to the common amenities in the valley could be challenging for some. Host was willing to take us on an ATV. The Galena area in general is beautiful and we had fun in town, zip lining, doing the coasters at the ski hill and just hanging out. »

« Overall, the property itself was nice, but our experience was significantly impacted by the host’s behavior.During our stay, the host came onto the property multiple times throughout the weekend and, on at least two occasions, entered the house without announcing himself, asking for permission, or being invited in. Multiple members of our group witnessed this. We understand that owners may occasionally need to access a property, but we expected advance communication except in a true emergency....

« We were upgraded to the main lodge which was great so I am unable to review the original property. Had a couple issues but they were resolved promptly. »
