Positive but Honest Review â Motel Sunshine Coast
I stayed one night at Motel Sunshine Coast after arriving from an international flight. Iâll start by saying the management were absolutely lovely â very welcoming and accommodating. The property is clean and well-maintained, and the location is convenient.
However, I do want to point out that while I should have read the listing more carefully, this is truly a motel-style accommodation with shared bathrooms â more like a high-end hostel in terms of layout. If you're expecting a private hotel-style experience, itâs important to note that shared facilities and limited parking are part of the setup.
The rooms are quite noisy â not from traffic, but from other guests. You can hear full conversations from the adjoining rooms. I was grateful I had earplugs after my long flight, but light sleepers might struggle with the lack of sound insulation.
That said, if you're looking for a clean, well-managed, budget-friendly stay and you're aware of the shared amenities, it could be a good option.
