1) impossible de profiter de la piscine qui est le repaire des pigeons, d'ou l'insalubrite et la salete de l'eau 2) nous etions 3 et attendions une grande chambre avec un lit supplementaire : on nous a donne une chambre de 2 lits ou le 3e lit ne rentrait pas !!! apres 2h de pourparlers on nous a donne une chambre plus grande avec le 3e lit, mais comme nous etions au9e etage sous la terrasse il y avait du bruit jusqu'a1h du matin (rangement des tables du restau en plein air)

Check out time needs to be confirmed
The hotel is tidy and clean but the confusing part is that the brochure in the hotel says that the check out time is 12 noon while the reception rang us saying that the check out time is 10am. This causes inconvenience to guests

Extended stay
Lords is a nice place to stay as its location is convenient. We stayed for 2 weeks. They have an average breakfast, but they try to give you good service. Even called to ask if I was comfortable during my stay. They can improve their bathrooms and condition of their rooms for sure, but they try to accommodate.They also need to work on cleanliness.The food at the main restaurant is amazing, a must try!

Very disappointed with the state of the rooms and the bathrooms. It is run down and terribly maintained. The rooms felt dirty and tye bathrooms disgusting. They really need to refurbish and maintain the property

Rooms were clean. Staff was unfriendly. Customers bring business. Having a smile on your face with friendly approach is the key to repeat customers. Hotels are travelers second homes and they come to relax in friendly if not homely atmospheres. Surat as city is bad but some cleanup in required near property.

Really disappointed in the hotel. When paying their stupid machine does dynamic currency transaction. This simply means you more when using a foreign card. I pointed out them and spoke to the manager they showed complete ignorance.

Good location. There were no towels or napkins in our room when we checked in. House keeping was prompt in sending it on informing them. Rest all was good.

Family visit in Surat
Slow service on arrival by Concierge/lobby staff who would not collect baggage from vehicle until checkin was fully completed. Wi-Fi was not working and even after complaining nothing was done while we stayed there for 2nights. Breakfast was good with fresh food and live counter, though had to wait for a table to sit given the number of guests eating. Shower in 1 room seemed blocked. Ask for rear end rooms if you cannot bear the noise from the road that is pretty busy. Jay.

Clean, comfortable, good value
Very helpful and attentive staff. Quick check-in. (Though I had to change rooms due to smoking smell in first room) Delicious food in rooftop restaurant. I had early train to catch, so they packed a breakfast for me and took me to railway station free of charge. I always stay here when in Surat.

Rooms not as good as they can be, but food is good
This would have been a good hotel 20 years ago!, it needs a lot of updating, as there are many new Hotels in the area. The windows never cleaned, the water in bath tubs floods when showering, the rooms are always missing items even after reminding the house keepers. The risk for the hotel is that they loss overseas customers, due to current level of customer expectations. The hotel does offer a good range of food and is close to the Train station to Mumbai.

Very courteous staff, and supportive. near most market places (surat is not a very big city anyways), good connectivity, visit the roof top restaurant for fun. We ate only a little in the hotel, but the food was good. Rooms were clean and decent hygiene standards.

Frustrating experience. Not giving free wifi. For international travellers wifi could be really big help but they charge lot of money for wifi. I Will not stay again. Despite room cleaning service bathroom was not cleaned appropriately.

Location wise its ideal but overall hotel experience was not so great. Air conditioner in the rooms weren't working properly. Though they changed the towels everyday in the rooms it looked like used towels. There is no free WIFI in the hotel and we have to pay for WIFI. After that also WIFI network wasn't great at all.

An upcoming hotel in Surat
Is a good hotel with great price. However though had booked for twin bedrooms they only could offer with single bed and had to add a rollaway bed for second guest. This was unexpected. With some glitches aside the hotel is good and has a good value for price.

A five minute taxi/auto drive to the rail station.
Our experience was positive, and the complimentary breakfast was great. The morning of our checkout the taxi that we booked, did not show-up after waiting approx. 20 minutes the hotel's van took us to the rail station, so we would not miss our scheduled train to Mumbai. Upon arrival at the rail station the driver found a porter for us to handle our four heavy luggage. This took the pressure off for us, trying to find the correct platform, carrying the luggage, and the porters placed it on the assigned seats as well. That's why I feel the little extras made this an overall positive experience. The hotel itself was reasonable for 2 nights expect to pay $100 USD for 2 nights. The rooms were clean, complimentary bottled water, and a coffee pot with tea bags, coffee, and creamer in the room.
