Important Parking Information

We want to make arrival as easy and stress-free as possible, so please review the parking information before booking.

Normal-size vehicles fit at the property just fine. Three small cars fit nicely.

Because this is a raised beach house, however, oversized vehicles — especially large pickup trucks — may find maneuvering and parking at the home challenging.

Guests bringing oversized vehicles or large trucks are encouraged to park those vehicles in Ocean Lakes overflow parking and use the home`s complimentary golf cart to travel between the overflow area and the house.

This gives guests with larger vehicles a much easier option while still allowing them to enjoy this fantastic close-to-the-beach location.

Standard-size cars and smaller SUVs should fit comfortably.

Ocean Lakes began a major expansion of the Sandy Harbor Family Fun Center in September 2026.

The former indoor pool, outdoor pool, and mini golf area are currently being replaced with an expanded aquatic and recreation area scheduled to open around Memorial Day Weekend 2027.

Planned improvements include a much larger indoor aquatic facility with an indoor pool, children`s splash area and aquatic play features, body slides, plus a new outdoor resort-style pool and additional upgrades.

Guests should always check Ocean Lakes` current amenity schedule when planning their stay, as seasonal operating hours, construction, weather, and staffing can affect availability.

The home also offers Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, TV, and dining space. Pets and smoking inside are not permitted. Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM.

Ocean Lakes vehicle passes are separate, and guests must comply with Ocean Lakes Family Campground rules.

Ocean Lakes is a complete vacation destination. The Sandy Harbor family fun center has the “Splash Zone” water park with slides and lazy river and game center that kids always love. The Nature Center can provide learning during your vacation. There are several playgrounds near the beach, an Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool for year round enjoyment, a convenience store, Sandy’s Meet and Eat restaurant, the Sandy Harbor cafe, and the “snack shak” to grab a bite.

Ocean Lakes charges $15 per vehicle per day for parking. This must be paid directly to Ocean Lakes and is not included in our cost quote. Reservations made in advance can qualify for express check-in, save a few dollars and beat the lines on check-in day.

Ocean Lakes is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north is all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world’s largest Ferris wheels. Vacation Rental Agreement - Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form a binding contract between You and Ass in The Sand Beach Rental, LLC (AiTSBR) effective immediately upon reserving your beach cottage.

With this agreement, you and AiTSBR, wish to agree on the terms of your renting the property on a short-term basis for vacation purposes.

Therefore, the Parties agree as follows:

1. Reservation.

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, You will rent the Property solely for short-term vacation purposes between the “Check-In Date” and “Check-Out Date”identified on the reservation. Your lease of the Property will start at 4:00 p.m. on the Check-In Date, and will end at 09:00 a.m. on the Check-Out Date. You may not check in early or check out late without prior arrangements. However, We may require check in to occur later than 5:00 p.m. during peak holiday periods.

3. Rent and Other Charges.

(a) The full amount of rent, taxes and other fees stated on the quote as Total Amount Due is due upon reservation.

(b). Authorization. You authorize AiTSBR or it’s subsidiaries to charge your credit card on file at the time of reservation.

(c). Nonrefundable Reservation Fees. “Nonrefundable Reservation Fees” may be combined with Rent and are included in the Total Charges.
