I didnt care for the lake of not telling you your address of location etc until few days before because we were planning a road trip with stops on way and wanted to put address in gps but I understand why they have to do ot so if your a big time planner just keep that in mind. The house itself and location and cleanliness was top notch »

« Beautifully restored interior. Air conditioning worked great. Quiet street but only steps to Main Street. Especially good for visiting residents at Riverside Sanders which is just a block away. »

« When we arrived to the home, it had not been cleaned. We were very upset by this, having two small children and all our luggage inside the home that had not been attended to since its last visitors. Dana and another manager worked closely with us to have the home cleaned immediately, only delaying our settling in by around 2 hours. For the inconvenience, Dana refunded our first night’s stay. Otherwise, a great stay for our young family! Very cute area and quiet neighborhood. »

« Lovely home right on the James River. Our family saw bald eagles, herons, osprey and even a dolphin in the water. Binoculars provided were great to have to see all the surrounding wildlife. Conveniently located close to the ferry to go to Jamestown and Williamsburg. »

« The pictures were old. The room and property currently look nothing like the property in the pictures on vrbo. Two nights I was locked out of the motel where I needed to get a hotel at a different location because the host was unreachable. They responded at 3 am the following day saying key was left under a plant. This is a run down motel. The pictures and description are completely inaccurate. I prepaid 21 nights and left after 10. I was refunded no money and the host stoped communication....
