Excellent rapport qualité-prix, la chambre est spacieuse et propre. Le personnel est aimable. Le petit déjeuner à la carte avec beaucoup de choix et très bon.

Convenient hotel close to the beach side
The Beach Hotel Swakopmund is located at 50 meters from the sea side. There is a great walking path at the sea side where one can walk for almost 5 kilometers without seeing a car. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There is also a sports room in the basement. The team is very nice and helpful, as they gave us great advice for restaurants around (The Tug is to be recommended for fish and seafood). They also booked a tour at Sandwich Harbour for us, which is an absolutely bust do (the company Sand Waves Adventure was great, was our guide Marius)!

Pas si mal !
Hôtel moderne entièrement neuf sans grand caractère situé en bord de mer à l'entrée de Swakopmund. Bien sympa quand on sort de périples dans le désert et que l'on retrouve un peu de modernisme et de propreté. Personnel et service excellent avec une palme toute particulière au personnel du restaurant qui est adorable. Le restaurant présente une carte absolument pas en rapport avec son standing, mais on vous prépare les plats que vous souhaitez déguster à la demande. Le steak frites est monstrueux et succulent. Les chambres sont impeccables, un peu petites, mais ultra modernes. Allez y sans hésiter, c'est un bon plan, mais pour la piscine sur le toit.....réservée aux habitués du grand nord... ça caille!!!

They ecpabd their terrace for the restaurant, so you have a construction Site, not always silent! Furthermore Fishers are near, therefore a fish smell is often there. The Pool at the terrace above is very, very small, you only can stand in it.

Good location near the aquarium with access to the beach close by. Staff were very friendly and helpful in booking activities and always had time and a smile for us. Would go back. The hotel can be quite noisy due to proximity to the road and the odd drunk loitering and shouting their mouth off!

All the furniture was old and worn out, looked nothing like a “luxury apartment”. The view was amazing but too bad we could barely see out the big window in the bedroom as that’s how dirty it was. On the balcony front and centre theres an old rusted a/c unit to ruin the view as well. Better get your tetanus before you stay here. Found a clunp of hair on the bed. And even though it said breakfast was included it was not. Included was bread, two types of cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt and muesli. If you want eggs or bacon etc you have to pay.

Good day Maria, First and foremost thank you for taking the time to provide feedback in writing, it always helps us improve our services to all guests. I wish to inform you that we are working on a refurbishment program which we can hopefully kick into succession in the new year, this will result in firstly, new furniture for our rooms, not sure if you noticed but the beds and mattresses already have been replaced, first phase of the refurb. Regarding the rusted A/C, you are most correct and we are looking at resolutions for it, possibly boxing them in or something along those lines. Regarding the breakfast offering the pricing on our menus is for guest coming from the public and not for the inhouse as an additional payment, I will ensure this is communicated correctly in the future. Please note I do not intend for my response to seem like an excuse for the terrible experience you had on your stay with us but rather as a genuine reply of gratitude for raising the issue you did and attempting to ensure you that we are attempting resolutions to the points you raised. We do hope that you will consider allowing us an opportunity in the near future to showcase some of the resolutions to the issues you encountered this time around.

Nice place in good location with excellent sea views. Room in need of update but was well equipped and very clean (except for a plate of the remains of a fish, tucked under the bed, which I found before checking out). Staff was super friendly and most helpful and parking safe and convenient. Excellent value for money!

A Hidden Gem
The staff were amazing and made me feel very at home. The chef makes some great food. Location is incredible. Hotel could use some improvement with regards to telephone and tv in the room and a shuttle to take guest to other restaurants and the city. Overall, I had a great and wonderful stay and will recommend.

I had a great stay at Beach Hotel. I was warmly welcome by the front desk staff, and there were always pleasant greetings as I passed the desk to get to the restaurant. I ordered at the restaurant to go a few times, and they always offered to bring the food up for me. Oddly, they do not allow guests to put used wares outside of the room. I was instructed to call for the items to be collected, but this really didn't work for me since I was working and in meetings and didn't want to have the knock at the door disturb me, so I ended up keeping everything until the next day. The location is great, making it possible to walk to the beach, to Tiger Reef, and to The Tug (which is great!).

We had a great stay in the Beach Hotel. It is in a very quiet area but an easy 15 minutes walking to central Swakopmund. The staff were fantastic and did all they could to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel. Price is right and is a fantastic value.
