„Old, needs updates. Room smelled weird“

„The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. There is a difference however between old and old/dirty/unkept. The floor was covered in dead bugs, spiderwebs, and dust. There was someone’s old food in n the mini fridge. Also, we are ...

„I arrived at the hotel at 1pm after driving 8 hours and was told if I checked in it would be $35 added to my bill for checking in early. Also I put a credit card on hold for incidentals and was told Expedia didn’t charge the proper sales tax so I was charged“

„Hilton system was down for hours when we were trying to check in. Could not get room keys, and the Hilton app did not complete in providing a digital key to me. It was a major annoyance. Breakfast was just okay.“

„Pros: price, great desk staff, location Cons: pool was not open, hair in the shower and around the sink, musty smell in room, high humidity in room (to the extant that the furniture is rusting), the TV remote was very sticky, tv is stuck in "store mode" and cant be changed making it difficult to watch anything, Overall, for the price point, it's not the end of the world. The bed was clean, and that's all that really mattered to me.“

„If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet.“

It cannot be compared to modern multi-storey chain-motels, however it offers a fridge, a microwave, cable TV and a small desk as well as good firm beds. You might miss "nice" furniture, a duvet on the bed, a spacious bathroom, an easychair or breakfast - but on the other hand you pay only about 50$.
