Settle into Kurka Jungle Retreats’ Unit B, a newly renovated private studio in quiet, residential Edgewood. Botanical accents bring a tropical touch, while a fully equipped kitchen, free in-unit washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, and dedicated workspace make longer stays easy. Ideal for solo travelers or couples, with a bunk-style sleeping setup, free on-site parking, and access to Tacoma, Puyallup, Seattle, and Sea-Tac Airport. Pets are welcome.

The space
Your cozy Edgewood hideaway pairs white furnishings, warm wood-look flooring, and green botanical accents with practical comforts for a weekend away, business trip, or extended assignment.

The compact, open-plan studio brings the sleeping, sitting, dining, and work areas together in one room—not a separate bedroom. The bunk-style setup includes an upper sleeping platform and a lower futon-style seating/sleeping area. A separate bathroom has a curved glass shower.

A fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, cookware, dishes, and silverware.
A Nespresso coffee maker, coffee, hot water kettle, and toaster for easy breakfasts.
A free in-unit washer and dryer, plus an iron, drying rack, and clothing storage for longer stays.
Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace with a desk and office chair.
An HDTV with Fire TV, a small dining surface, and stools.
Portable air conditioning, radiant heating, a ceiling fan, and portable fans.

Guest access
You have exclusive access to the fully furnished Unit B studio, including its sleeping and living areas, kitchen, bathroom, and in-unit amenities. Enter through your own private entrance using the smart lock; your personalized code and detailed check-in instructions will be sent before arrival.

The property has another independently rented accommodation, Unit A, with its own entrance and designated spaces. Unit A’s jungle murals, outdoor lounge, tabletop fire pit, BBQ, dartboard, and other associated amenities are not included with Unit B unless otherwise specified.

Private Studio Retreat

Unit B is a newly renovated, fully furnished studio with its own private entrance. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, business professionals, and extended stays.

Two Separate Accommodations

The property features two independently rented units. While you'll enjoy complete privacy inside your studio, you may occasionally see or hear guests from the neighboring unit.

Outdoor Spaces

The jungle murals, outdoor lounge, tabletop fire pit, BBQ, and dartboard belong to Unit A and are not included with Unit B. Please respect the designated areas for each accommodation.

Easy Self-Check-In

Enjoy convenient keyless entry with a smart lock. Detailed arrival instructions and your personalized access code will be provided before check-in.

Parking

Please use only your designated parking area, as other spaces may be reserved for neighboring guests. Specific instructions will be provided before arrival.

Peaceful Neighborhood

We're located in a quiet residential community. Please be mindful of noise, especially during evening hours. Parties, large gatherings, and unauthorized events are not permitted.

Pacific Northwest Weather

Washington weather can change quickly, so we recommend packing layers and a rain jacket, especially during the cooler months.
