It wasnât terrible, but definitely not great. Our code was wrong to get into the door, so I had to call a couple times until someone answered. They apologized and gave us the correct code. The apartment itself was stereotypical new renovations that you can tell were done in a hurry. We only stayed here for a concert, so only used it to sleep and get ready. There was visible dirt and grime on the floor boards and bathroom walls. The bathroom door isnât level, so it swings closed. Overall- it was a god location if you want to walk around. Although it did sound like a neighbor was singing karaoke around 8:30am. :â)
I received a message from the host through VRBO on the morning of my arrival to Tampa that the host had to cancel because of previous/ongoing damage to the property and they waited until the last minute to cancel my reservation. I'm waiting on a refund to my credit card. I will probably have to challenge the charge with my credit card company. Very poor service and communication. It put my daughter and myself in a very bad situation.
Everything was great, but there was NO communication from the property owner until right before the check in time. It was concerning because there were not any replies to my questions regarding the check in process prior. Thankfully we received the information we needed in time but it would have been reassuring to receive a message in return explaining the check in process. Besides that, the property was clean, location was perfect!
Unfortunately a few hours before we arrived the owner did contact me stating the room could not be rented because of plumbing issues so offered another property close by. The problem here was the first might there was no heated water, then the kitchen sink was clogged (we had to carry out water in a buclet in order to clean dishes) and the microwave stopped working suddenly. I didn't mention the two last problem to management because i was honestly tired of having to communicate issues. I will seriously consider renting from vrbo or this management again....w dont get much vacation time and the one time we did it was a lot of work
