Great view !

Marco welcomed us very well. Very good communication and very responsive. He gave us a lot of very good information. The apartment is clean and well maintained. The 3 rooms are well separated between each other which is very good with young adults but maybe not good with young Kids.

Logement confortable, vue magnifique et très bon accueil

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement malgré la météo pluvieuse pour cette période. Le logement est très bien situé avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la magnifique Isola Bella. Le parking privatif inclus est très pratique et indispensable car il est très difficile de se garer dans Mazzaro. L'appartement est très confortable et très bien équipé. Nous étions 8 personnes sans nous sentir à l'étroit. La piscine à l'eau salée et débordement est très grande et magnifique. Marco est un hôte prévenant et d'une gentillesse rare! Nous sommes arrivés tard dans la nuit avec les enfants et nous avons trouvé de quoi faire un dîner et un petit déjeuner le lendemain matin! Nous reviendrons l'été... Je recommande!

Vue époustouflante sur Isola Bella!

Superbe appartement avec une vue imprenable sur Isola Bella. Bien équipé, terrasse très agréable, piscine et solarium inoubliables. Bon point de départ pour visiter l'est de l'île. Seul inconvénient: la repartition des chambres qui n est pas très pratique avec des enfants en bas âge. Plus adapté pour des familles avec des adolescents ou des groupes d'adultes.

Bell Isola hide away

`On our second trip to Sicily we decided to try an extended stay in Taormina. Travelling with another couple, we picked this unit based on the web site pix and reviews. The condo development is literally in the hillside above Isola. You can miss it driving by as the only visible evidence is the topside parking lot, one of spaces to be assigned to your car for free (this is the only free thing in Taormina). We were met by the owner/agent, Marco. He is warm, informative, curious about his guests, and readily available for a tour of the facility and any questions. As others have written, the unit layout is a bit different, but it makes sense design wise. Its on three levels. Internally, on the main level there is a large common area for lounging and dining (kitchen is tight but has everything, including dishwasher) which leads to the private patio/deck overlooking Isola from about 300 yards away. The patio is about 125 feet above the water, immediately below. The Calabrian coast sits in a haze across the horizon. One bedroom upstairs overlooks the same view. A second bedroom is accessed internally from the upstairs level and requires a few stairs up across a small, private and secure (locks on all doors) open air stair well area. The upstairs bedroom contains a washer/dryer and has access to a small, private roof deck where the clothes line lives. The third bedroom is across the interior hall from the common room. The layout works just fine. Thanks, Marco!

Wonderful apartment, excellent location

We had a wonderful stay here - beautiful views that you can never tire of, the apartment is comfortable and very well equipped. Two of the bedrooms are set slightly apart which is great if you have older children or guests in your party who like a bit of privacy. The owner is very kind and helpful, and made lots of suggestions to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We loved spending time by the infinity pool and the experience of using the lift to access the private solarium (great snorkelling and sea caves). And easy access to Taormina and nearby areas either on foot or by bus. We loved our time here, thank you for making us so welcome.

Wonderful views over Isola Bella in excellently-equipped apartment

The apartment was excellently equipped with wonderful views over Isola Bella, which was a short walk from the apartment. Our children loved the pool, which we virtually had to ourselves, and the table tennis table was great entertainment for them as well. We didn't use the private beach on the rocks below as our children are young, but with older kids / adults, this would've been lovely. The property owner was so incredibly helpful - advised us on how to get there from Catania Airport by bus (only 7 Euros pp, drops you off 100m from the apartment - very easy) and then met us at the bus stop to help with our luggage, and then did the same on the return. He also thought ahead about how the bed layout might work with our young children, so it was all perfectly ready for when we arrived. Everything we needed was there, so we could instantly relax and enjoy our holiday. A huge thank you!

Wonderful stay and excellent location

We just spent a week in this property, it was a fabulous vacation! The location is great, we were able to walk to Isola Bella in a few minutes, there were restaurants, bars and convenience stores nearby for the basics. We were able to easy access taxis to visit the center of Taormina as well. The view from the patio is breathtaking. The pool area was also great, to be able to sit in the pool and enjoy the view was so relaxing. The elevator to the water level was so cool, it was so nice to sit down near the water and listen to the waves. We had all the amenities we needed, a coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, glasses, plates, bowls, etc., although we didn't cook much other our morning coffee. Marco was an excellent host, he provided great information about the area and spent time showing me around the unit and the building. He was responsive to my questions. He was also kind enough to bring us excellent cannolis when we checked out. This was a great vacation, I would recommend staying here and I would definitely stay here again if I visited!

Wonderful view and location

There are a lots of pluses and a few minuses with this property. First Marco greeted us with fresh beers and was super friendly and helpful with tips and recommendations. Then the view is just incredible even better than the pictures. We spent most of our time on the terrasse. The location is walking distance from restaurants and the funicular that brings you to the old city where there is a ton of restaurants and boutiques although some of the walking is on the road ( no sidewalks). The kitchen is quite small and making a meal for a group can be tricky. As there are so many restaurants nearby it wasn’t really an issue since we ate most of our meals outside. Be aware that the unit really consists of a large main bedroom looking towards the sea and a small children bedroom with two single beds. The other two bedrooms are situated outside the main unit one across the hall that divides the complex in two and the other one is accessed from the second story and across. That

Made to feel welcome from the very start

We had just an amazing week at this property from start to finish. Even though we had flight delays and took a wrong turn on the way, we were still personally greeted by the lovely Marco (and Christina via FaceTime) who ensured that we settled in and had everything we needed for a perfect week. We loved his flexibilty, welcome gifts and restaurant recommendations which were much appreciated, along with his pro activity in checking that we were ok throughout the week. Thank you Marco! Parking in the area was a challenge so having parking facilities at the property is a real bonus that should not be under estimated, along with its location being only a short walk down to many excellent restaurants and bars, the cable cars up to Taormina and the beach at Isola Bella beach. The view from the property is a rare beauty and we spent many hours on the balcony during meal times. Shopping in Taormina is a must with many beautiful views and a terrific atmosphere throughout the day and evenings. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. To note there is a quirky layout of bedrooms outside of the main part of the apartment which was perfect for us with 2 teenagers who enjoyed their own space in the evenings so very suitable to groups of sharing adults. Despite the complex being made up of many apartments there is no noise from other neighbours and the unit feels exclusive. We really appreciated the use of the private beach via the James Bond style cave-elevator and the well maintained pool area This could now have become our perfect family bolthole! Thank you such a lovely week. Everything exceeded our expectations. We plan to return soon and look forward to booking again.

The property was perfect for three couples. Each bedroom provides privacy while also providing a common area to gather and relax. The private access to the ocean was amazing and the infinity pool very nice.

Amazing location with stunning view of Isola Bella from the main bedroom, terrace and pool. The two bedrooms separated from the main apartment are more suitable for older teenagers/adults. Sea swimming suits good swimmers (reef shoes and jellyfish protection advised for swims to Isola Bella and the cove beyond the dive centre). Beautiful pool with good facilities cleaned daily. Short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and cable car but road lacks a continuous pavement, so caution advised. Kayaks available to hire from the main beach.
