Welcome to The Lakewood Stay, we offer a sunny, warm, large, spacious unit with amazing uninterrupted mountain and farmland views from many windows.

An incredible place with full kitchen, large master bedroom, spacious lounge and conservatory. There’s 1 queen size bed and 2 single beds(by request) to unwind and relax, all beds are very comfortable and warm.

- **5-min drive** (or 40-min walk) to Taupō town center
- **8-min drive** to Huka Falls/Wairakei Thermal Park


Your unit is the right part of the a house which sets on a rear section with a nature reserve as the backdrop, and spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains.

Guests have private entrance, your car park is just in front of the unit you will stay with a Park sign, plenty of off-street parking as well, guest have access to all areas shown in the photos privately.

We truly respect our guests’ privacy and aim to give them space , non-essential interactions will be avoided during the stay, however, please don’t hesitate to let us know if you would prefer a warm in-person welcome/quick tour of the space /arrival assistance/casual conversation. Your comfort is our priority — reach out anytime.

This place is a smoke free property and house.

Electric Vehicle Charging- We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location around the fire station.

All linen, towels and basic amenities (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee) are included in your nightly rate.

Highchair and cot availability at a cost of $10 per item per stay: Please request before booking to avoid disappointment. Kindly note that: No bedding for cot.
