« A comfortable and nicely appointed hotel in the centre of the town. Many hotels allow early check-in if rooms are available, but NOT the Hampton by Hilton. You pay £10 per hour extra. A very disappointing practice. Low-cost airlines charge for every little extra; it seems that there are low-cost hotels! »

« The general condition of the hotel is poor, old, tired and a bit scruffy. The rooms just about fit the bill, but the bathrooms are very small. The general condition of the hotel is not good, the corridors are grotty and the floor is uneven. The staff are hit n miss, the cleaning ladies were friendly enough the night shift staff were completely incompetent, and don't expect room service, I had to order in a pizza!! « Gorgeous property, staff were so lovely, lots of parking! Room and decor was lovely and we felt so at home. It’s a shame we didn’t spend more time on site. Breakfast was great, and the cafe was insane! Probably one of the best cafes in the county, if not country. We will definitely return. The choice to purchase local produce from the pantry was a nice touch too. We visited the area for business, but hope to come back in our spare time and stay again! »

« Had a two night stay in Room 1. Staff all friendly and helpful. WiFi was on the blink.so not available on our room. They said they needed to fix it. Room was spacious. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided. »

« The staff were great however the hotel is looking very dated. The door frame looked like it had been kicked in more than once. The carpets, curtains and overall decor were really old. That said, the room was clean yet basic. »
