Every time I stay somewhere, I hope it feels like home. This time, on the first day, the host gave me the property manager's number. After the second day, I realized the heat at night wasn't great because it kept turning off during cold Telluride nights. Also, the kitchen had old, used sponges, which was gross. And the dishwasher was broken. I tried to reach the property manager, but they didn't get back to me until the afternoon before we left, when everyone was on the mountain. To save money, we tried to cook, but there was no spatula, which is pretty important for cooking, at the VRBO. The owner and property manager never really apologized. I think I deserve a discount for all this. I never thought I'd be cold at night or have to wash all the dishes by hand with dirty, used sponges during my stay. It really made VRBO and the property look bad.Also the property advertises that the location is near lift #7. Which is true.This was a deciding factor during the time of booking. However lift 7 doesn't start running until after Dec. 25 of every season. This detail should be added to the property description in bold print. We had to take the shuttle back and fourth instead of being able to take lift 7.
