Family time - Spring break

Our family had a few rough months of family loss. We needed a time to make some fun happy memories, to help with our healing process.The property did not disappoint. It was tranquil with plenty to do; pickleball, volleyball, putting green, pool table, ping pong, foosball, an actual swimming pool, cards/games, or just relax by the firepit. The surrounding area was peaceful and loved hearing the horses nearby. The house was equipped with all the essentials. The beds were comfy, the bedding was cozy. However, the pillows were a bit too high for our liking. Not a deal breaker though. We truly appreciated that the property is fully fenced in, as we have dogs that love to chase cars. Knowing that they were safe from the road gave us peace of mind. The property management team were great, and very quick to respond with any of our questions/concerns.I would definitely stay here again.-Christine

Great stay for friends

We had an amazing time playing all the games the property has to offer. The pool/grill setup was also ideal. If you're looking to play beach volleyball, the sand is rather rough, we still had a great time and just played with shoes on. Wifi is spotty due to the location but the place has so much to do that we barely tried to use it anyway. Would stay again.

Awesome Stay!

This house was perfect for our family celebration! So many fun activities and we did them all. But we also spent lots of time around the firepit enjoying the view. The house was very clean and well stocked. Easy check-in & check-out. Highly recommended.

Pickleball destination

This is my second time coming to this property. We all love it here. We come for the pickleball court but the property is breath taking and will leave you wanting more. the pool and hot tub is a must! Even though it is an extra charge to have the heat turned on, it made the experience that much better. Will definitely book again next year

Somewhat disappointing

The house was beautiful and the grounds & landscaping are too. The beds were comfortable. With such a high cleaning fee, our expectations for cleanliness were high. It wasn't as clean as expected. Lots of things to do at this house. One thing we were excited about was the fire pit. Couldn't use it the first night, no propane & also a leak at the connector,. The second night some propane was brought out, but the tank only lasted for less than 30 minutes. READ THE FINE PRINT, regarding the pool/spa heating. It's not included in the extra fees. They charge an excessive amount to charge for pool/spa heating. (I personally own & operated vacation homes with pools). It's stated in the "homes truths" that the internet is spotty, it is beyond spotty. Couldn't get the TV to work on the provided free TV channels and could not get our personal Netflix to work because of the slow internet. It was a girls trip, we did have a great time any ways!

Great Semi-rural Retreat in Wine Country

Excellent long weekend with extended family and young children. The property was clean, all the amenities were as described, and the management communication was extremely prompt and easy. The property is a retreat in itself with the pool, sport courts, and well-kept grounds; but also right next to wine country. Highly recommend. We loved it.

Family Fun

The Riesling Retreat is a beautiful property with plenty of activities for the family in the heart of the Temecula wine valley. Great pool & jacuzzi area, enjoyed pickle ball, ping-pong, billiards, putting green. Loved the views, BBQ area, & landscaping. The bunk bed room was warm as it only had a fan. Lights on on pickle ball court were not allowed which severely limited playing times as it was so hot during the day. The jacuzzi heat was an additional cost and should have been included. Who advertises a hot tub that is NOT hot??? Communications with management company were excellent & prompt.

Family vacation

A very comfortable place with many activities for family members. However, the Wi-Fi was very spotty and not dependable. Because of unusually cool weather charges to heat the pool was too expensive; this limited use of the pool. Except for the drier not working properly the retreat is a great family vacation

overall enjoyable stay

Overall we had a great stay at this place. The property has spacious indoor and outdoor spaces and the entertainment facilities were phenomenal, only one minus however due the fact that the spa was not operational. We received an email from Avant Stay at 12:51 pm on the check-in day, informing us that the heater for the pool and spa were found to have an issue during the inspection, so regretfully those will not be available for our stay. Avant Stay offers $300 credit to our AvantStay account for future stays. I suggested that Avant Stay offer refund instead of credit, but was denied. Our group enjoy the pickleball court the most. We were inquiring how to turn on the lights on the pickleball court on the night of arrival day. Avant Stay replied that “…Regarding the Pickleball lights, we regret to inform you that they are currently non-operational. We received a complaint from a neighbor who was disturbed by the glare of the lights, which was affecting their sleep at night. As a result, we had to disconnect the lights. We hope you understand the situation, and we suggest that you play the game during the day.” This is a very remote area, and with only another property next to this (far away from the pickleball court). In the future, if I choose to come back here, we will pick the summer time when the day is longer without needing the light to play more. A tip for getting to this property, please follow the directions kindly provided by AvantStay. We followed the google map navigation, which led us to a much longer route. Also note the last section to the property is unpaved. Pleas take caution especially on rainy days.

Riesling Retreat Rocks1

Our family had a fabulous stay! The house was clean, comfortable and we had lots of room to cook, hang out and play - esp. PICKLEBALL! Perfect for big groups, loved the different areas for group seating - the big dining room table, outdoor grill & pool area, fire pit, backyard table & chairs, front porch rocking chairs and more! There was an issue with the hot tub but the AvantStay team and the owner were communicative and we worked through it. Special nod to the amazing landscape! We may have come for the wine tasting but didn't need to leave the property with everything to do there! Would definitely stay here again!

Family Christmas in Temecula

Our family spent this past Christmas at this beautiful place. It is exactly as advertised! Our days were spent enjoying all the amenities; pickleball, basketball, sand volleyball and spending evenings by the fireplace. Very nice. And with trail riding just half a mile away we were able to take our grandchildren for a ride. Very nice place.

Fun for Everyone!

We loved this house! We were a group of 13 and had so much fun! The house was beautiful and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We had one small problem but it was taken care of the next day. But the outside of the house was the most amazing part! The pool and hot tub were really nice. We loved the pickleball court and it was so helpful to have the court lights so we could play after it got dark. The outside bar and bbq was also really useful for our grilling night. This was such a fun place! Thank you!

What a gem!

This house was beautiful, clean and spacious. We made great use of the sports courts and pool. Our kids and adults loved everything about this house. The beds were cozy and everyone commented on how great they slept.
