Wonderful spot perched a top an overlook off of a very well maintained dirt road. Divine sunsets, amazing stargazing, old west kitsch. Fire in backyard with our pups was a highlight. Quarters are close, but other guests were friendly and quiet. Excellent location close to town and to national park.

Everything was excellent. We had a little bit of a scheduling conflict and there were very accommodating and this was first place we wanted to bring our bed home.

The overall place was great. Cute with each cabin decorated to the old western theme. Loved the look. Great sunsets every night. Nice views from all cabins. Very clean. Loved the concept and area views. Loved the outside chairs to take in the views. Loved the peace! The main room kitchen for everyone was huge. I did not think it was going to be as large and as stocked as it was. I would of brought more food. Most places say they have a large shared room but usually they are small. It was great and very large. If this place was in the city it would be gross because of unrespectable people, but all guests staying here were respectable to each other and cleaned up after themselves which was nice. Suggestion to put out post it notes/labels for customers to put on our own food as private with your name or "help yourself" so others know. I left some fruit but not sure others knew they could take it. The only negative... it was very far out and hard to find. Go in daylight there is no lights. The road was not paved and bad. Gravel, narrow and very bumpy. If I had my car not my suv I would have been upset. Probably an issue when it rains. It seems like you are driving forever since there is no signs and nothing. Maybe add more signs. My shower or toilet water stunk so it left a bad smell coming to the room daily but we were able to open windows and they give you water for brushing your teeth. Add a larger fridge or 2 small fridge to the rooms. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect! Quiet and peaceful, my husband loved the can crusher LOL!! Our fur babies enjoyed the fenced backyard. Perfect snug little town.

Big bend adventure

We loved staying here. I docked a star on cleanliness because there were some towels left in the bathroom (presumably) from a previous guest. But overall the property is very clean and we wish we had more time to explore!

Western town in the hills

Great Western Town like setting in the hills by Big Bend. Great setup. Breakfast was limited with bread/toast & cereal. We enjoyed our stay.

The Saloon was so cool to stay in! The front porch was great to sit on and the back had a gorgeous view. It was not convenient to get food (or anything else for that matter) but this was made clear ahead of time so we went prepared. The road was flooded out when we got there but this was also a warning ahead of time and we had a truck so had no issues. We'd go back for sure. This was our favorite place to stay out of an 8 hotel trip.

We loved our stay! Everything was amazing. However, the unpaved road getting into the ranch was a hassle. Other than that, the vibes were immaculate.

Wild west reproduction town

Property was clean and well appointed. Comfortable bedding. Water and coffee pods for guests. During our stay weather was very unusually cold and windy but gas fireplaces kept us cozy warm. Our water froze but our hosts moved us to another room just as comfortable with no issues. Would highly recommend a stay here.Would highly recommend throom

We absolutely loved our stay

This was my our first time going to Terlingua so we were sure what to expect. I can say our expectations were exceeded! The communication was above and beyond which is very imposto me. The owners gave us detailed information about our unit and surrounding locations like where to eat and places to see. We were very happy and can’t wait to go back! We give it a 11/10

The Freight Office (#15) smelled like sewerage

We were expecting a remote, off the grid location, which we got. It was dustier than we expected. The Freight Office - #15 - should not be rented out until you can get rid of rhe sewer smell. We left a day early because of it. The cantina was good, but there was a large grease glob in the small sink that was neglected by your cleaning crew for 3 days. Might still be there for all we know .

This was the perfect place for my husband and me. We were celebrating his birthday and the wedding of my best friend’s son. I loved how unique the property is to the location. We walked out the back door of our room and the scenery was incredible! The room has everything you need for a short stay. We had a problem with the hot water for our showers the first night there. I contacted Sis and she responded immediately and it was fixed the next day when we got back to our room from some wedding activities.

Anniversary Get Away

We were overall impressed with Ten Bits Ranch and its beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It’s truly a hidden gem—emphasis on hidden! Just be prepared: the property is set about 2.5 miles down a very rough gravel road. We were in a Honda Accord, and let’s just say… it was not a match made in heaven. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend driving something with a little more grit—like a 4WD or a vehicle better suited for rocky terrain.That said, once we arrived, we found it to be quiet, serene, and a lovely little getaway. The AC worked great (which is a big win in the desert!), and the rustic stone shower added a unique charm—just make sure to give the cold water dial a firm turn unless you want a surprise sauna experience like I had! The bathroom sink was slow to drain, but thankfully there was Draino under the sink—points for being prepared, host!We came for a quick anniversary overnight with hopes of stargazing, but the clouds had other plans. Not a single star in sight—but we still soaked in the magic of the area. It was our first time in Big Bend/Terlingua, and now we’re hooked. This trip was a tease, and we’ll definitely be back for more! I wish I could upload a video because I took video, not pictures of the inside.
