The Suite in Room 441 was great; a simple, yet efficient space for two adults. The bed was very comfortable. We couldn't believe there were dishes, a dishwasher, a stove and microwave in the room. A very nice space. The only negative is that the room was situated on the Wabash side of the building, which was somewhat loud on Saturday night. I am a light sleeper and noticed this quite quickly. Overall, a good stay in a cool, renovated, nice building.

This is billed as a smoke-free building, but my allergies reacted significantly the two days I was there.

Staff at front desk were friendly and efficient. Parking procedure required trip back to car with "permit". Building has seen better days. Some elements show recent renovation, others worn. Bed and easy chair were comfortable. Toilet needed flush valve replaced. Bathroom needed some hooks or shelves for clothes. No breakfast.

Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is wonderful. They have kitchen items you can borrow as well as a full setup to bring some of your own food. I've stayed there two times now and will continue to stay when I come to terre haute.

Five C’s of Candlewood Terra Haute Clean - The room was well maintained and clean as a whistle. Comfortable - Beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. Convenient - A block away from the Hulman Center. Several good food choices within a couple blocks. Kitchenette available. Free parking. Courteous - Staff was friendly and very helpful. Check in was a breeze and we were greeted when we returned after our evening out. Cost-effective - For what we needed, this room fit the bill to a T. A little more expensive than other choices, but given the other 4 C’s, I think we got great value for our money.

I stayed on the 5th floor. The water pressure was low but sufficient. The towels were pretty rough (scratchy). The staff and location are great.

Convenient, good for the price
Hotel is easily found and close to the university. Room was fine overall but the window HVAC unit was noisy. I did not use the kitchen area, so cannot comment. Adequate parking, be sure to use the parking pass given at check-in, so your vehicle is not towed!
