« We had the most amazing time!! We had swimming holes up and down stream!! Up stream was deeper for and better for my teen kids! We fished, kayaked and swam everyday we were there! Me and my husband loved the little coffee bar also! Got up and drank coffee on the outside deck by the river and seen some deer! It’s a beautiful place! We all slept very comfortably also!! (Pic was taken about a mile upstream when we kayaked down from mile marker 19) »

« We have been visiting The Frio for years! We have never been happier with a stay like Cabana Sol! Check in was a breeze! The house was clean as can be! Our entire crew loved the hiking trails, the teens especially! The AC was great! Short trip to Garner. The contact with the owner was super simple, and she responded very quickly! I am already going to message her to book our stay for next year. We truly could have been more pleased with our vacation. Usually we are ready to go home...

« Nice little house on the river in Matagorda. The house was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the back deck looking out over the river and marsh lands. The furiture was comfortable and the house was clean when we got there. We ended up sleeping on the futon in the livingroom because the portable a/c unit in the bedroom was super loud and the bed was super soft in the middle. « This is our 3rd time to stay at this property and we love it! There were 9 of us, 4 kids and 5 adults. The water is absolutely beautiful at this spot. The dam is close if you want a change of location to fish and swim. Bring a pop up and chairs and spend all day down at the water! »

« The cabin was a little smaller than the impression from the pictures but it was all we needed. The only thing I didnt like was the water pressure in the shower. Other than that, the week seemed to fly by and I cant wait til I can make another trip. When that time comes, I will definitely look into booking this cabin again. Check-in/out was easy and had we needed anything I had the contact info to the property manager. »

« Awesome place to stay. Very clean and decorated beautifully. Everything needed - firepit, fireplace, bbq... Loved the view of the Texas hills. Wildlife (deer) crossed in evening - grandkids loved that and the pool. Not far from Garner State Park and 7 bluffs crossing. Country store in walking distance! »
