« This is not our first family staycation at this hotel, as we do enjoy the general tranquility and delicious breakfast spread with the chocolate fountain. It helps that we plan our activities to avoid the crowded peak period for breakfast (9am to 10pm) and the pool (4pm onwards). « Amazing stay we had at The Standard Singapore! My Hyatt status was recognized as well as my Expedia Platinum status. The staff are amazing, specially ‘Yacket’ at the Kaya resto! He is very attentive to our needs, always smiling, efficient and respectful yet amicable! Our rooms are always spotless, the housekeeping is doing a wonderful job! Thank u all so much! « Great location if you have business at the university otherwise no good reason to stay there. No lobby. Unable to accommodate early check in. Lobby toilet in the basement next to sleeping staff behind blankets. Would not accommodate my request to shorten my stay. Even when expedia got involved. Ceiling in my tiny room needed a couple of layers of paint. Woken close to midnight by kids running up and down corridor screaming. Do not recommend. »
