« Working for a CPA means being unable to get away during the typical spring break. So I always try to take a trip in early May. This year it was me, my adult son and adult niece. We come to Michigan often but usually stay in a hotel. This year I decided to try something different, and I'm very glad I did. The cottage sits right on the lake, you can hear the sounds of the water from the sunroom. There were all kinds of boats & kayaks available along with a gas grill and a fire pit. My son loved...

« Heron's Perch was a great spot for our family reunion. Such a cute, little cottage with something for everyone-games, kayaks, fishing, beautiful sunsets, etc., not to mention close by options in Shipshewana and Middlebury. The owners, who have a seasonal home next door, were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! »

« The property is amazing! So much space. We had 17 people and everything was perfect for us. From dining together, to fishing, to swimming, to outside game playing. And let’s not forget about the beautiful 3/4 mile walking trail around the property. Just an all around perfect place to have a family reunion. Private and peaceful property. »

« We loved this property. This was the perfect couple's weekend getaway. We kayaked on the lake and enjoyed the beach by the doc. The bed was super soft and comfy. It was clean and well kept. I can't wait to stay here again. »

« This home has it all. We never left the property for the 4 days we were there. Very clean, plenty of towels, linens, both upstairs and downstairs kitchens had everything you would need for cooking. The rental had plenty of spices and condiments for items that we forgot to bring. Access across all three levels of the home was easy, especially to access the lower level (you could drive to the lower level to unload or load). Plenty of parking. We can't say enough about the games and...

« Anabel and Anwar’s home was the ultimate lake escape—just what we needed before diving into the chaos of school and sports! The house was cozy and equipped with all the lake essentials. We especially loved having the option to rent the pontoon—it totally elevated the experience. Already dreaming of our next stay! »

« We had the most wonderful week staying at this property. The home is beautiful and very clean. Beds are so comfy and the rooms are spacious. The area is so breathtaking and the patio is beautifully furnished. We had so much fun on the lake using the paddle boards and kayaks available. Becky was a great host and made us feel so welcome. We have stayed in 4 properties in the area this summer and this is by far our favorite! »

"Hôtel calme, un grand hall, salon avec canapé, ainsi que les tables et le petit déjeuner. Nous n'avons pas testé la piscine mais elle avait l'air bien. En plus du thé et café en accès libre, dans la hall se trouve un distributeur d'eau fraîche agrémenté de rondelles de citrons. Il y a un laundry et un ATM. Le petit-déjeuner était complet avec du salé également, une machine à gaufre, yaourts, céréales, ... La chambre était propre et spacieuse, avec un bureau et une chaise, en plus du frigo, micro-ondes et cafetière habituels. Je recommande cet hôtel et j'y retournerai sans hésiter."
