We had a great stay, the house is beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the view is outstanding. Perfect location for exploring the North Shore, or for just staying in and relaxing. Great communication by the host. We will definitely book again!

This wonderful property was perfect in every way.

The owners have thought of everything. The entire home was comfortable and beautifully appointed, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We even loved the toiletries that were provided. The garage and screened porch were an added bonus.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake. The kitchen was well stocked so we could easily cook meals. Great location - would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful view. A perfect get away, with everything we needed.
Even in cloud cover the lake is stunning.
The sound of the waves crashing and rolling in were a perfect treat with our morning coffee on the enclosed 3 season porch.

Wonderful view at the lake side and loved both the screened porch and the open deck - perfectly positioned to enjoy the lake view and sounds! Comfortable and had everything we needed and location was great.

Beautiful! Perfect location

This was our first time staying at Halsnoy Haven. It is the perfect home for a relaxing stay for two people. The view of the lake was incredible. The deck was the perfect place to have a coffee in the morning. Our stay happened during a heat wave but the breeze from the lake kept the temps perfect. We brought our bikes and could easily get on the Gitchi gami trail for a ride to the winery or to Tofte. Close drive to Grand Marais and many popular hikes. The Property manager is very responsive and helpful. The property next door (shares the driveway with Halsnoy Haven) is called Tofte Cove and is under the same management. We recommend both highly. Tofte Cove has extra sleeping space if needed for a family. We have stayed there a few times prior to finding Halsnoy Haven, which will be our go to lodging moving forward.

What a stunning cabin! The view of Lake Superior is simply spectacular! Everything I could ever need to make incredible memories of my North Shore visit. Fabulous front porch to take in the view, and it’s incredible on the inside as well. You won’t regret booking this for your getaway!

Great North Shore trip

Wonderful property, the views from the porch and deck were beautiful. The property was well maintained and several amenities were a plus. I would highly recommend this for your stay in the area.
