- Set in a traditional village location in an unspoilt part of Devon where you can enjoy countryside walks or cycle rides from your doorstep, including the Tarka Trail which is close by. Within a short drive you can find the family attractions at The Big Sheep, Milky Way, World of Wonder at Affinity Devon and Air Extreme Trampoline Park. Nearby you can visit RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the historic Cavalier market town of Great Torrington, home to Dartington Crystal. The coastline is only a short drive away, where you choose between the wide sandy beaches of Westward Ho! and Saunton Sands, the spectacular cliffs above Bideford Bay, Hartland Quay, the many tiny coves or the cobbled, harbourside village of Clovelly.
Stepping into this spacious bungalow it immediately offers a comfortable and welcoming holiday home, entering the hallway a stylish bathroom is on your right with storage, bath with shower over and WC. The kitchen/diner is then further on with a well fitted and equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, and dishwasher, a good size table and chairs allows everyone to sit and eat together and the adjacent utility room houses a fridge freezer and washing machine. The spacious lounge has a large Smart TV, comfy seating and a wood burner. French doors open out onto the raised terrace and overlooks the lawn garden with giant jenga and Connect 4 as well as superb countryside views. this room is a great place to relax after a day’s exploring. Heading back through the hallway there are three bedrooms, one king-size with en-suite shower and WC, one double and lastly a twin room with TV.
Heading outside there is an enclosed raised patio area with garden furniture and around the corner a small bistro table and chairs offer a small private spot to sit and take in the beautiful views of rolling fields and woodlands with a glass of something bubbly . The patio leads down a couple of steps to a good size enclosed lawn area with charcoal BBQ. A great pace to enjoy some quality time. There is allocated off road parking for two cars on the drive and additional cars can park roadside nearby.
