Our 1970's architect designed villa is located in a beautiful tourist area close to the sea that provides security and medical services. The villa is isolated and elevated allowing our guests to enjoy the breathtaking sea views and feel like they are in an oasis of peace and quiet. There are restaurants, bars, shops, pharmacies and supermarkets close to hand about 1.5 kms away and three restaurants within 15 mins walk. The sea is about 2 km away where you have the choice of numerous sandy or rocky beaches where the water is always crystal clear. The local area is overlooked by towering, weather etched, pink and yellow granite outcrops and the wider area, in the distance, is surrounded by mountains of remarkable scenic beauty. The natural environment is particularly rich with a variety of endemic wild plants and animals and the overall natural setting is still mainly untouched by human activity perfect for trekking. There are many locations within an hours drive such as the Magdalena archipelago with its beaches of pink sand and the protected island of Asinara with its wild white donkeys. If you want a change of culture you can take a ferry trip to the beautiful port of Bonifacio in Corsica for a French day out. There are also many archaeological sites from the Nuragic period (the Stone and Bronze ages) nearby where the ancient inhabitants constructed huge stone towers the purpose of which is still in doubt.
