The main living area offers a warm mountain atmosphere with comfortable seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and a large TV. After a day on the slopes, hiking the trails, or exploring Truckee, gather around the fire for a movie or conversation, or simply enjoy some downtime in the comfortable living space.



The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from quick breakfasts before heading out for the day to full dinners for the group. With plenty of counter space, cookware, dinnerware, and the essentials needed for a longer stay, the kitchen is set up for families and groups who enjoy having meals together. The dining area provides a comfortable place for everyone to gather around the table.



The dedicated game room is one of the home's standout features. Challenge your group to a game of pool, grab a drink at the bar, or let the kids and teens settle in with the PS5. Having several separate entertainment spaces gives everyone places to hang out while others relax in the main living areas.

BEDROOMS:

3 bedrooms, with a game room as an unofficial 4th bedroom:

Bedroom 1: Master suite with a king bed, vaulted pine ceilings, and ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower, soaking tub, and double vanity. On the main level for easier access, and private double door access out to the back deck.

Bedroom 2: Jr. Master suite with king bed and an en suite bathroom. On the 2nd floor.

Bedroom 3: Bunk bedroom, perfect for the kids! Twin over full bunk with a twin trundle underneath. On the first level, with easier access. Includes an ensuite bathroom.

Game Room / 4th Bedroom: Two twin over twin day beds, with pool table, full bar, and entertainment system. This could also work as a bedroom for the kids, with a door for privacy and trundle beds.



Bathrooms

4.5 bathrooms provide plenty of convenience for larger groups, with bathrooms distributed throughout the home to make mornings and evenings easier for everyone.

You'll find spa-quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash and laundry supplies, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and more, along with a washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, air purifiers, and other essentials to make longer stays easier.

Guest Access:

You will have full and private access to the entire house during your stay, including the spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor patio and backyard. Please note that the owner closet (1/3 of the garage) remains locked and is not accessible to guests. In addition to your private residence, you are welcome to enjoy the shared resort amenities, which include the swimming pool, hot tub, gym, and sauna facilities (see additional details for HOA amenity pricing).



The Neighborhood:

Nestled in the peaceful Tahoe Donner enclave, our home balances mountain serenity with easy access to adventure. You are minutes away from the Tahoe Donner Adventure Center, the local ski resort, and the Trout Creek Recreational Center, which offers pools, fitness facilities, and saunas (see additional details for HOA amenity cost). Golfers are just over a mile from the course, while historic downtown Truckee provides charming shops and dining. Perfectly positioned near major ski areas like Northstar and Palisades Tahoe, this is an ideal base for exploring the Sierra Nevada mountains.



Getting Around:

You can easily reach our mountain retreat by car, with a two car garage and driveway space for two additional vehicles. Street parking is prohibited. While Tahoe Donner is best explored by vehicle, historic downtown Truckee is just a short drive away. Reno Tahoe International Airport is the primary gateway, typically a forty five minute drive depending on conditions. We recommend having your own transportation to fully enjoy the surrounding ski resorts and local recreational centers at your own pace.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

* Most resort amenities have a nominal fees, with guest pass. Trout Creek Rec Center is currently $20 per guest; infants 0-2 years old are free, kids 3-6 are $10.

* All vacation rentals have a max of 6 passes for 6 guests to use amenities at once. There are blackout dates on certain holidays and peak times - check with us for more details. 

* The hot tub is located at Trout Creek Rec center. The home does not have a private hot tub.
