Away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Mangalore, this is a relatively secluded beach. Colorful fishing boats 🚣, beautiful view of the sunset 🌅and some soul searching on a huge rock outcrop (not in pic) extending into the sea 🌊 - just some few things that this beach offers. For the history buffs, it's also famous for the nearby temple of Lord Shiva, which was apparently built at the order of the King 👑 of the Alupa dynasty in 10th century A.D. đŸ˜± Food đŸ„˜ for thought: Don't forget to try the local version of the snack "bhel", which is made out of puffed rice, vegetables, spices, coconut oil and tangy tamarind sauce
