„Be careful that you don't miss the gravel driveway to this gem! Nestled in the woods is a picturesque cabin with every amenity you need to unplug for a couple days. Barbeque, star gaze, and play board games in a well furnished house with upgraded appliances and comfortable furniture. Make sure to look at your directions on the GPS before you lose signal so you don't end up leaving in the wrong direction and stop at the nearest town before arriving. „The property was very nice with a large yard. There were a lot of songbirds and an eagle! House was very clean with everything you need. We explored the area doing a lot of hiking and was a very relaxing place to come back to. The porch is amazing even when it rained. There are 2 benches at the creek but it's easier if you bring camp chairs for the firepit which we didnt have. A wonderful place to stay!!“

„We have a family cabin nearby where we'd normally stay. Wanting to have some peace and quiet when others were coming up last year led us to look elsewhere and this is where we decided to stay...and we loved it. This year we decided to book it before we even checked with my other family members. You don't need to struggle to find a reason to stay here. It's quiet, close to everything, and Traci will take care of you, period.“

„My family and I had a weekend getaway here. We enjoyed the house, the board games, and exploring the property. If you’re in need of some relaxation and quiet this is a great place to do it. The driveway is very long, just keep going, you’ll get there. The Austin dam is minutes down the road, the Potter County Pub is 10 minute drive and a great place for food and drinks.“

„Overall it was an outstanding place to stay. The only thing I didn't realize is there is only salt and pepper so if you need any spices, cooking spray, sugar packets ect, bring them along. We will return. Really enjoyed the front porch and down by the creek.“

„Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!“
