« I am not impressed by lofty entrance foyers or grand ballrooms, or a million facilities I never have time to use. The Travelodge is in a converted office block. This provides good clean quiet basic accommodation with no frills you don't want. I stayed in a family room with my girlfriend while touring Nottingham and it was great, and very cheap (under 30 pounds for the room for both of us), cheaper than B&B. The room was very clean and in good condition, better than some 4 stars i have been in....

« Check in was really slow, I wasn't told about the building or where my room is. I was given the wrong key card, so I had to wait another half an hour for the error to be corrected. I wasn't given access to the facilities/leasure areas as the property description advertised. There was no guide of how to use the key card or an fire escape map in my room. Over all I am disapionted. »

« I booked hotel on the same day of the stay. It turns out a form must be filled in and completed prior to being allowed in just the hotel reception. Upon finding this detail out as I arrived at the hotel, it was quite the disappointing experience that cannot be matched by having an on site host.
