« This was my second time staying at this property—first for a friend weekend and this time to bring my husband, son, and mom—and I expect it won’t be our last. Super easy getaway from the DC area for water views, a quiet area, and nature activities nearby. Stacy was helpful with recommendations for the latter, as well. We’re eager to stay again when the weather is warmer to get out on the water—but despite a chill, the home and views did not disappoint! »

« The host was communicative and responsive. The initial directions were a bit unclear, but the host promptly responded. However, it is a basement apartment and the sole egress was blocked by what appeared to be some sort of HVAC unit. Additionally, the electricity appeared to be a bit rigged as there were adapters plugged into surge protectors. At one point the breaker tripped, but it was handled expeditiously. « They are texting me and asking me for pay again. Second time I stayed and second time this happened. The first time they found my payment before I had to help figure out what happened and now they are doing the same thing. It’s a very weird thing for me to book on Expedia and then have the host hound me for payment after I leave. Now the second time they are asking for proof of payment again. It’s a horrible way to conduct business »

« Parking was at a premium. If renting a car, good luck finding a place to park it. The property had an "old" smell upon entering. There was no empty storage for our things for a multi-day stay. We were also bitten many times by some insect, most likely in bed. »
