« We were the first to rent this property and it did not disappoint! The pictures are exactly as they are in real life, though there is now a shade over the pool to keep it nice and cold throughout the day. The stairs are very steep inside, especially to the downstairs with low headroom but it makes it fun and adds to the uniqueness of the property! « We've stayed here twice. It's the ultimate spot for seclusion but it's just right down the road from Leakey, Lost Maples SP, Utopia and Garner SP. The drive from Vanderpool to Leakey is next level. The cabin is cozy with an awesome fireplace and comfortable beds. It's definitely our go-to spot if we want to be near Garner or Lost Maples. We will be back. »

« Absolutely incredible place. The house is perfect for a couple and their dog to just hang out and unwind.The fire pit was awesome. We cooked hot dogs and steaks and s'mores. The night sky was beautiful, so many stars. We took out dog for a hike on the loop trail and he got to go off leash for the first time, besides in a dog park. He had a wonderful experience here. He got to meet a horse, a hog, sheep, and cows. This place was exactly what we were needing. Thank you so much. »
