J'ai beaucoup aimé cet endroit , l'accueil est top, l'endroit est convivial , les chambres sont grandes et très propres, bonne literie , tout fonctionne notamment l'eau chaude, il y a des prises électriques . la situation est super tout près de la plage de vagator , un garde pour la sécurité devant . Ayant été malade , le gérant m'a trouvé les médicaments qu'il fallait , m' a conduit à l'aéroport pour un avion à 6H30 , un très bon service sans jamais en faire trop. je recommande cet endroit si vous venez à vagator

Très bon accueil l aménagement des chambres est très sommaire une seule prise de courant fonctionnait très peu de rangement le gros inconvénient l aboiement des chiens toute la nuit difficile de se reposer salle de bain sommaire pas d étagère et propreté douteusele seul point positif avec la gentillesse des propriétaire est la proximité de la plage.

Soit disant une chambre deluxe..... peinture pas très fraiche, de plus prix très élevé pour une guesthouse. De plus le prix des repas est le même que dans les restaus.... Et contrairement à d'autres guesthouses il n'y avait pas de communication avec les proprios. Préférez Benaulim à Vagator...

petite guesthouse simple et agréable grace à l 'accueil de Rosy la propriétaire qui est adorable ; lit rustique et matelas très mince mais chambre propre et salle d'eau attenante avec douche et eau chaude et WC .Petit resto sur le toit correct et prix très bas ; plage de l 'autre côté de la route Ambiance familiale et déplacements faciles avec les rickshaws . Possibilité d'étendre son linge ;

Stressful encounter
Art ved at the property and the manager said that our booking had been cancelled. After many hours wasted on contacting the website to sort it out, the owner told me later that they would honour the booking but I had already found alternative arrangements. Thankfully he gave me a cash refund but the entire experience was unpleasant and stressful. Time wasted on my holiday

Good choice
This place is run by a very nice family. They are very friendly and can advise and organise anything you want. The location is perfect with 1 min walk to the beach and you can hear the swell from the ocean. I’d come back because it’s good value for money and friendly people.

Great guesthouse next to the beach!
I stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The room and facilities are comfortable and the location is steps from the beach..and easy access to explore the village and sights as well. I highly recommend this local guesthouse. Very nice family and will take good care of you.

Right next to beach!
Very good deal, as close to the beach as possible - right next to beach entrance. Looks cheerful outside. Rooms are basic but clean. As all other budget hotels in India, they use urinal fresheners as air fresheners so the scent is strong in the room. Screens on window so no mosquitos. Quiet and peaceful, no drunks. Lovely family that owns it, very nice and helpful.

"here is the beach and here is your yellow house"
Staying at Yellow House was a treat. It is sunshine in a building with a happy atmosphere. Family run, the family is welcoming and kind, keeping track of their guests welfare and offering plenty of suggestions as to how to enjoy the area. Day trips are organised to suit, car and driver super professional and caring. A short walk to the beach, slightly longer walk to other places. A very decent selection of restaurants and eateries for all tastes and budgets up the road and breakfast available daily at Yellow House on the roof terrace with jungle greenery as a backdrop for a coconut filled pancake and a delicious fruit salad. Some noise at night from beach revelry (the beach places conveniently ignore the 10pm watershed) can be disturbing, earplugs worked to filter out the worst. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Yellow House and would return in a heartbeat.

only good point about this property is - its very near to sea...budget rooms are too small...there is no - television,mosquito repellents,no security guards....area is very dark with pigs roaming nearby....after 11 its tough to go beach...their restaurants not having any lunch or dinner facilities,inspite of knowing there is not much option outside....

Eksotiikkaa oli , omistajaperhe oli ystävällinen ja palveluhenkinen. Aina onnistuin saamaan, mitä tarvitsin, jopa kampa haettiin kaupasta,mikä sijaitsi kävelymatkan ulkopuo lella. Omistajarouva haki pyynnöstäni ostoskassinkin Mabusasta siellä asioidessaan. Sain hyvän kuljetuspalvelun, minne sitten halusinkin. Talon alue on pieni, mutta rantahan on lähellä, joskin päivittäisen siistimisen tarpeessa. Lehmien pääsy rannoille tulisi terveydellisistä ja esteettisistä syistä estää aitauksin. Kannattaa muutenkin katsoa, minne astuu: itse astuin heti ensimmäisenä päivänä lantakasaan...oli niin hiekanruskeaa. No, kokemuksia, aurinkoa, lämpöä , meren kohinaa ja sademetsän vihreyttä lähdinkin etsimään. Niitä sain monessa mielessä. Vatsavaivoilta säästyin hyvän käsihygienian avulla, ja tietenkin katsomalla, mitä ja missä syö. Matka onnistui ja jäi hyvät muistot!

REAL Goan stay
I absolutely adored my stay here. It is a family concern, so you get the real inside track. They are so helpful and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. They found me a driver who was not only unbelievably reasonably priced but also invited me into his house for a meal. Ask them to show you the back path behind the house to the fort. It brings you out in a tiny little village with beautifully coloured houses. Idyllic. The food and beer in the village are cheap and very good quality. Scooter hire or taxis are incredibly cheap. If you are planning to get a SIM card come prepared with a photocopy of your visa and the photo page of your passport, as well as the originals. Also bring a passport sized photo. Ask them for advice when booking trips. Some are better than others. Thanks, Yellow House : )

Fantastic place with such a friendly family who ownes the guesthouse! Recommended indeed! The mother who has run this place for ages has some good stories from the place back in the 70's ;) service is great, rooms are good and the guesthouse os located in a very quiet part of vagator.

Einfaches, sauberes Hotel in guter Strand-Lage
Das Hotel ist recht einfach, doch sehr funktional. Es liegt sehr nah am Strand. Das WiFi ist gut, leider reicht es jedoch nicht bis in die Zimmer, bzw. nur wenige.

PROS *family feeling *pretty building *friendly staff *nice plants and such *rooftop terrace CONS *dark rooms with tinted "windows" *no wifi in room as promised *no desk as promised (heavy thick old school tv on it) *loud ac *LOUD KID LIVES THERE even louder than normal 3year olds EARLY in the morning (6ish)and noise bounces in the stone corridors *where's the promised garden? theres just normal Indian piles of leaves and stray dogs outside, no hammocks or places to chill all n all an ok hotel if you just need somewhere to sleep and don't mind the lack of sheets.

a small budget place to stay comfortably..
This is a small budget place to stay if u wish to be close to the ocean wid a middle class mentality. Its homely & nice feeling 2stay like friendz with a nice & disciplined catholic family. Simple bed & an attached washroom and just 5mts walk 2da Vagator Beach. They give you good guidance if you require on your tour & breakfast & vehicles if u desire. Anyway , Vagator night stays r 4people who require rest , solitude , romance and / or a bit of exploration around the place till Arambol or Anjuna and not for big families.So the set up has been made accordingly..

Never again!
No sheets on the bed, only blankets. We stayed there for 8 nights in February 2015. The room wasn't cleaned, nor bedding or towels changed for 4 days until we asked and again after a further 2 days. Every day we had to ask for a toilet roll. The 'Restaurant' was very poor, as was the one and only breakfast we eat there. Location;Out of the way, down a steep hill (on the edge of big Vagator beach) and down a further dirt track. Building in the vicinity, no other facilities in the area.

Das einfache saubere Hotel liegt sehr ruhig in dem sonst relativ lauten Vagator. Zum Strand ist es ein Weg von cirka 250 metern. Die sehr nette Inhaberin, ihr Sohn und die Schwiegertochter versuchen alle Wünsche erfüllen. Da das Haus mit nur 13 Zimmern (AC und nonAC) leider hellhörig ist kann man teilweise auch an dem Leben der anderen Gäste teilnehmen. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Haus für Leute mit nicht zu hohen Ansprüchen. Wir würden wieder dort buchen.

Eigentlich wollten wir für unseren viertägigen Aufenthalt in Goa ein schickes Boutiquehotel buchen. Wir stellten jedoch fest, dass die Bewertungen der in Frage kommenden Hotels durchaus zwiespältig waren und den Eindruck hinterließen, kein adäquaten Gegenwert für die für indische Verhältnisse relativ hohen Übernachtungspreise zu erhalten. Wir entschieden uns deshalb für eine einfache, aber sehr günstige Unterkunft in Strandnähe, welche durchweg gute Bewertungen erhalten hatte. Und in dieser Hinsicht wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Das Yellow House ist ein einfaches Guesthouse mit ca. 10 Zimmern (einige mit Aircondition). Die Zimmer sind ca. 12 -15 qm groß und verfügen über ca. 6 qm große WC/Duschen. Unser Zimmer war offenbar gerade neu gestrichen worden und war sehr sauber. Den einzigen Komfortabstrich, den ich erwähnen möchte, waren die sehr harten Matratzen, die meinem lädierten Rücken nicht entgegenkamen. Das Hotel bietet eine kleine Speisekarte an und alle Speisen werden frisch zubereitet, schmecken sehr gut und sind sehr preisgünstig. Die Familie, welche das Hotel betreibt, ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Von der Hotelterrasse sieht und hört man das Meer. Es wird kostenfreies WLan angeboten. Fazit: Wer auf ein schickes Ambiente verzichten kann und eine preiswerte, ordentliche Unterkunft sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Highly recommended if staying in Vagator. Advantages: very close to the beach, tidy, lively, the hosts are very friendly, no mosquitoes at night due to being located close to the ocean, functional wi-fi. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

Nice hotel close to the beach so you could hear the waves in the night witch was very cosy! Good help from the staf with fixing a scooter and taxi! Highly recommended!

Das Yellow House ist sehr strandnah und relativ neu. Der Koch macht ein tolles Frühstück und kann auch sonst gut kochen. Auf Wunsch hat er uns selbst gekaufte Prawns zubereitet - echt klasse. WLAN fällt manchmal aus, Betten etwas hart. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist nett, insbesondere "Mama Rosie". Man kann dort auch Roller mieten und alle sind hilfsbereit. Würde sofort wieder dort buchen.
