Wrong Location on Hotels.com map
The Chalet is not in the place hotels.com stated it was. I based my choice upon distance to the ski area. Your website states its a 9 minute walk to the ski lift. In actuality it was a 20 minute drive. The information on your site was contradicting and turns out I had to pay the the owner directly at an additional 500 swiss francs. Chalet was beautiful and clean. Owner was very kind and understanding. Location was just wrong for us. We were a total of 5 with dog. The chalet was 150 meters from the parking due to avalanche on both sides of chalet access which we knew about. Great chalet to get away but not the best for skiing unless its cross country right from the house. I called hotels.com immediately and they asked if I had checked it. It was non-refundable and I had too many people with me to change at the last moment. Hotels.com said they would give me a voucher for $250. for my troubles which they said would be sent within the hour. Still haven't seen it. 10 days after our stay it still shows the wrong location. Please update your information on the Chalet and the exact location as others will feel deceived like me.

The wrong information about distances to the ski resort and other locations have been wrongly calculated by Hotels.com and a support request to the Online Travel Agent has been raised, but they never replied to the issues. We were never informed that you wanted to cancel due to the wrong information on the hotels.com web site. We are not aware of any extra 500 Swiss Francs charged to you without your consent: all extra fees are clearly listed on the Hotels.com web site during the booking process and the calculation has been sent to you. You came with a dog, and we didn't charge for it. Unfortunately we can't help you if hotels.com doesn't refund you the promised $250. It is very disappointing for us to get a bad review for issues we are not responsible for.
