Lady at the front desk was very nice and polite. Pictures are nicet than the hotel itself... bad neighborhood and poor cleanliness of the room (hair everywhere, gum on the carpet, dust on every piece of furniture, small pieces of trash in every corner of the room etc... rooms would need a MAJOR cleanup).

L’hôtel est situé à 15 minute du centre ville en prenant l’autobus no. 20. Malgré le fait que sa situation n’est pas dans le plus beau quartier, il fait noter qu’en face, il y’a une épicerie grande surface, un Starbuch, un Dollorama et un Liquoreux Store.

Bonjour Mon séjour à durée plus de trois semaines, lors ce que je suis arrivé, j'ai été accueilli par une dame très sampathique et professionnelle. Jamie ( si je ne me trompe pas ). L' a première chambre ne m'allais pas du tout, car il y avait un vieux tapis de plus je suis allergique à la poussière, mais pour une nuit ça allait. J'ai donc damandė à changer de chambre, et une super et fraîchement rénové m'a été attribuée, c'était un bonheur de ce côté là. De plus c'est bien situé à côté des commerces, une station de bus se trouve à quelques mètres, cela prend 15 minutes pour aller dans le centre-ville.

Our staff care about our guests and ensuring that their stay is one filled with good memories. I am glad we were able to move you to a room with new flooring and that you enjoyed this room - since you were with us for 3 weeks. We agree our location is great. A bus right outside the hotel takes you to downtown Vancouver - where many of the tourist attractions are - not to mention restaurants and shopping. We are also 2 blocks away from famous commercial Drive - home to many restaurants and pubs. Thanks again for taking the time to review your stay with us - and hopefully we will see you again

Réservé pour 2 nuits, la chambre n’as pas été faite après la 1° nuit, obligé de demander du café car qu’une dose pour le premier matin. Très bruyant pas de double vitrage, situé à côté du centre de tri de La Poste locale, ils commencent de bonne heure!

Le pire séjour de notre vie dans un hôtel.
Séjour de 5 nuits : la première nuit nous étions dans une chambre côté cours, impossible de dormir il y a une soufflerie permanente qui bourdonne dans vos oreilles ( même avec des boulquies ) le lendemain nous demandons à une des employés ( très compréhensive et qui connaît parfaitement le problème) de changer de chambre et d’être côté rue, nous obtenons effectivement une chambre plus calme et plus spacieuse ... le lendemain problème ... il font des travaux sur le toit ! Et les employés n’ont aucune instruction de commencer un peu plus tard, du coup à 7h40 tous les murs se mettent à trembler et le bruit est tellement fort que vous ne pouvez même pas vous entendre parler .... bref la responsable de l’etablissement n’a aucun respect pour ses clients ... le pire séjour de notre vie dans un hotel !

Front desk unfriendly, Lobby was dirty, the parking lot felt very unsafe there was needles in the parking lot along with a lot of trash. This has been one of the worst property’s to stay at.

The room was clean & adequate, just not the quality that I'm used to, as I normally stay at a Marriott, but as you are a 2-star hotel, it was as we expected: adequate, not luxurious; but staff were friendly. I do not, however, like the practice of taking a $150 deposit. Marriott simply has my credit card details & charges me when I depart; so you might want to let your patrons know that they are trusted. Taking that deposit is a little chintzy.

Overall we were happy with this hotel. It's about a ten minute walk east of the homelessness situation that East Hastings is known for. We were not concerned for our safety at all. To enter the main door from outside, the receptionist has to buzz you in or you use the key fob on your room key to unlock. The one thing that I couldn't get information for while booking was how to request a quiet room, so here it is: BOOK A QUEEN ROOM IF YOU WANT QUIET. The hotel is shaped like an L. One wing is all King rooms and is above the club so the floor will be vibrating and the bass will resonate until 2, 2:10am. The other wing is all Queen rooms and was very quiet. We'd originally booked a King room but the daytime receptionist on our first full day (we'd arrived just past midnight) was able to give us a room that had been freed up due to check out, so the rest of our nights were peaceful. Since this hotel is also a club on some nights there will be partiers outside the hotel having a smoke or socializing. I didn't really like that but I did know about the club beforehand so can't complain too much. When we had to go into the building and they were there I'd just ask them to move aside so I could use my key fob on the door and there was never an issue. This place suited our needs and if we end up going back to Vancouver we'll stay here again.

I end up canceling our stay there. I feel unsafe for my vehicle as we have a lot of stuff from our camping. The receptionist was being honest that it is not safe to leave anything in our car. Even if it is not refundable , we didn’t stay overnight in that hotel.

This is a basic, budget hotel that has a lot to offer for the price. The lobby is quite small but adequate as was the room we stayed in. It was clean and nicely furnished and had good quality linens. Be advised that there is no elevator to the 2nd floor, but the night clerk very kindly carried most of our luggage up the stairs. The area around the hotel is "iffy" but a bus stops right in front of the hotel and taxis and Uber arrive in minutes. We had an excellent breakfast in the attached restaurant and had friendly, fast service as well. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want to forego the very expensive downtown hotels.

Unfortunately I got to the property a day late due to my travels. The rooms are very small but the space works in the end. My bathroom had no place to store my supplies like tooth brush, toothpaste, gel, floss, shaver etc. So I had to store them outside the bathroom next to the closet. The bed was lumpy but fortunately I can put up with beds. In the morning however the city was redoing the road and they had MAJOR construction and I couldn’t sleep. Unfortunately it was beyond the hotels control. So I checked out that day and the hotel was good about working with me and getting me a refund. At the end of the day, the staff were very friendly and most importantly the price was right. Good luck. Lots of people there for the boat cruises.

The staff is very friendly. There is no lift, but the desk attendant carried my bag up for me. He warned me of the noise from the Tiki Bar, but it wasn't so bad. It didn't keep me up. This place is dated, but they work hard to make the best of what it is.

I stayed fully knowing what the Waldorf is and was. It's an old hotel with lots of character and it's relatively inexpensive and close to all the groovy stuff East Van has to offer. Over the years there has been a couple good restaurants in the building. Now its Howe Sound Brewing and it's really mediocre, and not very clean. Over all the stay was meh. But it was also under $200/night.

Not the worse part of town but definitely not the best. The staff were nice, the restaurant had good food options and was not overly busy. We didn't have a shower curtain, which was odd and the coffee wasn't great. Bed was comfier than expected. Good spot for a quick visit to the mainland, if you're not fussy.

At out first night it was fine. The Hotel staff in the morning is really nice and helpful but the male staff at night is kinda rude. He was plain when we were paying for the second night but when the music below us started to be very loud friday 11pm - we called the frontdesk to ask until what time it will be loud. FYI we understand it’s friday and party night. But the next question I asked him annoyed me and my partner, I asked him how come this was not mentioned to us when we booked the second night. The male staff is the one who asked us to come down and asked us to pay but he never mentioned to us that it’s loud every weekend because of the party. But he really insisted that he told us before asking us to pay. IT’S REALLY NOT A GOOD IDEA TO EXTEND OUR. STAY HERE.. VERY VERY LOUD AND THE TREMBLING OF THE BASS IS UNBELIEVABLE

The room 104 shall never be used to accommodate people. The front desk warned us before about the music and the high noise due to that but the main problem was the noise coming from the road. The windows were like there is no window at all. All the vehicles and the people's sound were like they were also in the room.

This hotel only has rooms 1 floor above ground level and NO elevator, phone in the room did not work, had to ask for face towels. Not happy with my stay here

the place was pretty dismal, the price was agreeable for vancouver, but you got exactly what you paid for. I worked in hotels and never seen a place so inflexible about check in times, and whoever designed the bathroom in my suite had either no intention of a person using it, or a twisted sense of humour. Stayed there in 2006 and was looking forward to coming back, but that was the last time

When I first entered the hotel, I felt that someone had urinated all over the hotel. Whatever it was a bad experience, and I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
