It was a fantastic stay. It was clean and inviting. The host was accommodating, I didn’t have pets, the bar was not available for guests, but that is not why I stayed. Good central location to see family in Oregon and Washington.

Sheila was a very welcoming host, the house was nice, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe with very little traffic. But what really stood out was the shower that definitely lived up to what Sheila said in her listing.My friend had the master bedroom with the dual shower heads, so I used the guest bathroom, and even that shower head qualifies as the BEST I have ever seen! (And I'm almost 70.) It is a high-pressure rain shower head and was about 8" in diameter with 90 jets! I had been nursing a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder, and it was wonderful just standing under that shower, letting it massage my shoulder. The head was also large enough to massage my entire back without having to move around, and the water pressure was very high. Definitely a winner!

The back yard was so peaceful to BBQ, sip on a coffee and enjoy a conversation. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Loved all the vegetation in the yards. The location was perfect for accessing the HWYs, and the surrounding areas including Portland, OR. The house had all the amenities, as we cooked most of our meals there.

Wonderful hosts.

Comfy and Quiet

The location is a short drive to all Vancouver has to offer, but is far enough away to be a peaceful getaway. The home is well appointed and has lots of space to spread out. The beds are actually comfortable, which is hard to find in vacation rentals! Communication was great, easy check in/check out, we have no complaints!

Amazing stay!

I recently stayed at this lovely house in Vancouver, WA, and it was a fantastic experience! The shower was amazing—spacious and invigorating. The neighborhood is incredibly friendly and walkable, and there are several parks nearby that we enjoyed. I loved the coffee bar, complete with a Nespresso machine, drip coffee maker, and whole beans with a grinder—perfect for the coffee lovers in my family! The bright and inviting living room was a great place to relax. Highly recommend this place for a cozy getaway!

Left after the first night of a five night reservation

I have never had such a surprising awful experience when using VRBO’s Premier Host and prior reviews as a guide. This home had a layer of dust throughout, cobwebs in multiple corners of each room with dead bugs. It was as it had not been maintained and cleaned for quite some time. The Master bathroom had ants on the walls, the toilet, the toilet paper, and at the entrance to the shower. The bathroom pictures did not include the ant trap on the window sill. In summary I could not understand the disconnect here. In all my years of using VRBO I have never experienced anything like this given the Reviews and the Premier Host designation. After the first night we left and found another rental that upheld everything detailed via the Reviews and the Superhost designation I will be seeking a cleaning refund (and more), as well as discussing with VRBO my experience that include pictures of the conditions described above

Perfection in a home rental!

Three family members and 1 dog made the trip from Eugene to Vancouver WA to join the other half of our family for new year's weekend. At first glance, this house looked perfect for us, so I booked it. Booking went like a charm and Sheila was very communicative all the way through the process. She had been using an external service for the deposit, but when I got the daily notices to complete the form, I asked her about it. She apologized and said to disregard the messages. Ok! Upon arrival, we we amazed at how absolutely perfect this home was for our stay. The description was accurate, except everything was 100 times better than described! Because it's a dog friendly home, they provided all the necessities to help us help keep the dog comfortable while maintaining the home's cleanliness. Nice touch. The beds were extremely clean and comfortable, Shower in main bath indescribable with 3 walls of varied shower heads - each with full pressure even while on at the same time! There were also 3 comfy bathrobes for us as well. Lovely. The Nespresso and other coffee options made for a lovely wake up AND they provided everything for hot breakfasts, including a waffle bar, bacon, eggs, butter, and a variety of beverages. As well as full set of cooking utensils, spices, sauces, and more. The outdoor areas were partly covered for the rainy winter, and had nice plantings. Location was close to town and nature trails. I can't say enough positive! We felt right at home.

Lovely Vancouver Home

Our 6 night stay was wonderful. Sheila and Scott were very helpful and available to answer any questions. Their home is lovely and if possible even better than the description. From the beautiful backyard to the great kitchen and living areas. Nice bedrooms and cushy linens! We plan on coming back!

Beautiful Backyard!

We had a beautiful stay. We chose this property because of the central location which allowed us to explore both Washington and Oregon. Sheila and Scott thought of everything! We had everything we needed while away from home and more. The neighborhood is very quiet and the backyard is peaceful and full of beautiful plants and flowers. It was the perfect home away from home.

Excellent hosts, comfortable and convenient

We stayed three nights and hosted business training sessions during the day. The attendees were present 8-5 each day. It worked great. There is ample table and island space to spread out and large screen TVs that can serve as displays for laptop powerpoints. The furnishings were comfortable and the coffee bar was a nice touch for our attendees. There is a very cozy space with couch and cozy chair around an electric fireplace. The shower in the master bath is pure luxury and the bed was very comfortable. There is a nice selection of kitchen ware and spices for the chef in the family. The pictures are accurate and we would definitely stay here again. The location is easy to access and near most things. Scott and Sheila were excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. 5 star service!!
