We most highly recommend this small boutique hotel. It is located in the very heart of the beautiful Tbilisi. Our room was very clean and had everything one needs for the comfortable stay. Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. All this would already justify 5 star review. However the most exceptional feature of this hotel is warmness and hospitality of the staff and, especially, Nino and Eya, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We have been traveling a lot both for work and for vacations and this hotel is unique in making us to feel that we stay with very good friends. Taking orders for specific food (buckwheat and waffles) the kids of the guests requested. Helping us to successfully locate the wallet left in one of the local restaurants. Serving full breakfast to feed us before early excursion. Nothing seemed to be too much to ask. Staying in Kazma we experienced the most wonderful Georgian hospitality and we will not forget it! Elegant and historic building modernized in a tasteful way. Breakfast (particularly the coffee) was exceptional.

The room was spotless and really nicely designed. Love the ethos behind Communal and how they restore old Georgian buildings, they have done a great job. We also stayed in the Communal Sololaki during our trip, and Plekhanovi is much nicer but the location wasn't our favourite. Great if you need to be near the train station otherwise you're quite far from the centre so we took a lot of Bolts, but would've been nicer to have more options for food and breakfast within walking distance. If it's your first time in Tbilisi I would definitely recommend Sololaki as the location to stay in.
